So I had the itch and bought a D7200. Updraded my D90 that I do love. I ran and took a quick pic because I need to charge the batteries. It really is a nice camera and a huge upgrade to the D90. I do have a question. I know where I can get a Nikon 17-55 mm f2.8 1:2.8 G ED; AF-S NIKKOR for around $700. Anyone use this combo and I have the cash and was wondering if this would be a good fit with the new camera or another option. I take a lot of landscapes.

Nice view. But picture seems to me a little noisy. I read that D7200 is really good at high ISO.
Your settings are: ISO-1000, SSpeed-1/400, F22.
This was actually a pic just taken on the fly. Its a picture my D90 would of never taken.

I believe this manual capture is under-exposed, which is a primary cause of digital noise when viewed as a JPG.
With proper exposure, the D7200 has remarkable ISO range.

I'm sure it is. I really only only had one shot before the battery died. I should have waited for a full charge but what the heck. I had fun.

Thanks!!! It really is a nice camera. I will set her up on a tripod and shoot some pics with different lenses to see how she can do.

Thank you! I know the camera won't make me a better photographer but it has some really nice features. I also like the "hand feel" of the camera. I have big hands so some cameras feel small and toyish.
