The first one is from a few days ago. The rest were all taken within the last couple of years. We travel a good bit so I'm exposed to a lot of different areas and weather conditions. Lots of fun.
None of the above are my issue. I fear that Trump will become the first American dictator. Look what happened when he lost the last election. He would be better prepared the next time.
I'm in a real quandary. I can't, in all good conscience vote for either man. My choices are either not to vote or write in an unknown, which is much the same. Where are all the good politicians?
Two things, the people they are saying are undecided may just be those people are praying for another choice since both are horrible. Second the rate of inflation is calculated on things that rarely effect most of us such as groceries.
The last shot is fantastic of that old Olds. The rest are great but I love the last one.
Very, very nice, especially in a rough light environment.
A few more non-blue flowers from around the area.
Could have been a Windows screen.

Maybe not a native flower but in the summer there are fields of these sunflowers everywhere in North Central Texas

I think this is Goldenrod but not 100% sure. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I told my wife and close friends I did not want another dog. Meet Ellie, a Black Mouth Cur, curled up in the chair I bought for my home office. Hers now since she spends more time in it than I do.

Pugsley, his other pug. I've never known a with a cooler attitude. Oh, the one eye? Tried to take food away from a German Shepard, and lost. Great lap dog.

Spot him? I had a friend with a rangefinder spot him and he was about 600 yards away. Sun was down so the only way I spotted him was when he moved.

I made this rig up for my Tamron 200-500 lens which is a heavy one.
About 25 years ago when we were living in Texarkana, Tx we came home from a meeting to be greeted by red, green and other colors in the sky. It was a couple of hours after sundown so I knew it wasn't that. There was nothing on the news at all about it. Lasted about 15 minutes. I wasn't equipped to photograph it at the time but sure wish I had been.
Amazing shots of a magnificent eagle.
I agree with Curmudgeon. The smoking man is giving hat man his attention. Nice street work.
