The ONLY thing that matches the cost of inflation, and used in govt statistics to prove that things aren't too bad, is the cost of the standard items in their bag of groceries - EVERYTHING ELSE has gone up much more.

Wow, what grocery store do you go to? Bacon $3.00 now $6 or 7, Eggs triple the price, etc

And the $9.99/month includes unlimited professional support 24/7. It has saved my bacon many times.

I cannot agree. The flag is not personal expression, itโ€™s a national expression/symbol. In this badly polarized/politicized nation of ours, a little national unity would be a positive change. Personally, I am comforted by the playing of the national anthem at sporting events. Patriotism and tradition may seem corny or irrelevant to you, but I have a different opinion, so we can agree to disagree in a respectful manner. That freedom is guaranteed to you by the document you referenced and defended by those who typically (but apparently not always) respect the symbol of their country.

Peace.
I cannot agree. The flag is not personal expressio... (show quote)

When I hear the National Anthem played it makes me happy and comforted. It can be a personal choice not to like it but, to suggest it not be played is selfish and offensive.

Just a reminder: The flag is just a symbol. All the comments about it being more than that need to read the Preamble to the US Constitution.

I fly the flag because I choose to. The rest is also up to me, as well.

But the preamble is just a piece of paper and so is the Bible?
What are you thinking, do you know what the flag stands for?

Yes, I DO see those things all the time .... Also, many American Legion posts sell new flags, so don't be afraid to get a new one!

I pay my bills via the bank via the Internet. Print a copy of their confirmation as proof. Has worked for me for years. A lot safer than a check via mail

When I started taking photos at age 13 I had a cheap camera and was happy to get images. No fancy camera. That taught me that I loved photography and made me want a better camera. If it were just a fad, I would not have gone on later in life with bigger and better cameras. The cheaper camera is probably the best for the first. I learned to fly in a J3 Piper Cub, not a Gulfstream.

Most cameras quit after 30 minutes. I would get a small and held video camera for under $100. I have one, and it takes amazing great videos. Then stabilize them in the free version of Davinci Reasolve. Davinci can also crop and do a lot of fixing up a video.

I still get many requests from the "older out-of-it folks" to put their VCR tapes, Slide shows, camcorder tapes, and cassette tapes on a DVD or CD. They ask and I do

Interesting line of logic here when the suggestion is to call Adobe when you are on a $10 per month plan. Skilled labor for everything from home to car repair is over $100 and hour.

How much Adobe handholding should we expect? Would it be more effective to buy a well structured class aimed at beginners?

Have used Adobe Help many times. They have bailed me out of what I thought were unsolvable problems. They are skilled technicians ,and will spend as much time as needed to fix problems. They will take control of the computer most times, and not only fix the problems. They also will go through the computer to make it run more efficiently etc. Well worth the monthly payment
