Our most progressive club is not in Meetup, in our area.
All clubs are great, but they are a social club, I have meet a lot of good people, over the years in the camera clubs,
We have some great groups in our area, sharing information,
The club I belong to pay Meetup, to list the club, the response has not been that great, it is the largest attended club in our area,

I bought a Canon 7D at Best Buy’s many years ago, it failed while we were at Hilton Head..several months later.
