You're gonna gonna love the lens. Like was mentioned, you really need a tripod to hold the lens & camera. The two attached pictures i took at Miami Zoo at 600mm.

Jerry.
It is possible for a women to be pregnant & not know it. She could be very obese & still be having her periods while pregnant. I've seen just the opposite. The woman looks pregnant & her belly grows as if she is pregnant. She even goes into labor even though there is no baby. The reason is the woman wants a baby so bad the brain plays tricks on her making her think that she is pregnant. Of course with ultrasound these days that's easier to detect. I was in the medical field for 28 years & I've seen all kinds of stuff. A woman with two vaginas, uterus's, fallopian tubes, & ovaries. Also a person born with male & female organs. Mother nature sure is funny.

Guys. Politicians are the ones the ruined the space program. we pay the Russians more to take astronauts to the International Space Station than if we still used the shuttle. Now big business wants to get into space travel. WOE be unto us. God bless those brave astronauts that did space exploration.

Imagemeister. Sorry about the typo error. It is a Nikon 28-300mm FX lens. That picture you took of the tiger is great especially since you didn't let the fence get in the way. that frustrates me about a lot of zoo's. What I try to do is get very close to the fence & focus manually. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Attached picture was taken at the Zoo Miami. As you can see I couldn't get rid of the fence in my picture but I did get the lizard. Michael.

Imagemeister. I've been to both Palm Beach Zoo & Zoo Miami. the best thing about the Miami zoo is that they are not in cages & you can get some real good shots. The one I took of the Tiger was taken with a Nikon 28-800 FX lens & cropped. the Gorilla was taken with a Sigma 150-600mm lens & cropped. Didn't have to worry about a fence like i did when i visited West Palm Beach Zoo. The alligator was shot at the Sawgrass Recreational Park thru a fence. I got real lucky with that shot. Those Tigers are shuchs pussy cats. Ya gotta love them. Michael

I'm with you BamaTexan. Unfortunately the news media doesn't print that. When are people (like former Mayor Bloomberg, the soda king) going to learn that if you take away guns from law biding citizens, only the criminals will have guns cause they get theirs illegally. We had all these kind of weapons years ago but you never saw the killing like there is today. Why, you may ask? It's because of mentally disturb people, pure & simple. Guns don't kill, people do. And if they didn't have guns, they'd use something else like bombs, knives, Molotov cocktails, chain saws, hammers or whatever else they can get their hands on to do the killing. Put a gun on the floor. Say to the gun, kill the next person that passes by. Nothing will happen because there is no human being to pull the trigger on the gun that is laying on the floor. So wise up people.

Brought back memories when you could understand the words written to the music. Songs that had love & sadness over the breakup with your lover. Not hate, four letter words & killing like the rap music of today.

Bozik. i was trying to down load from my external hard drive. This is not the first time this has happened. Oh, & you're right. it is a super lens. Just a little heavy. I had it on a tripod when I used it at the zoo in the lion & gorilla area.

Bozsek. How long did it take for your p[pictures to load. I had mine trying to load for at least 4 to 5 hours & finally turned the computer off cause I lost patience wating for the pictures to load. My camera is a D4s & the Sigma 150-600mm sport lens. You are definitely right about the lens taking great pictures. The pictures were taken at Zoo miami.

Finally got the Sigma 150-600mm Sport lens with the Nikon mount. Took two test pictures handheld with Vibration reduction on. First is at 150mm & the second is at 600mm. It was taken thru the sliding glass door with the screen in front of the door but I'm very satisfied with the pictures Although the 600 is a little soft.

Jerry. I have it on order for 5 months from B&H. I need a Nikon mount. They did send me a Sigma mount when I first ordered it by mistake. I am drooling to get my hands on it. I heard it is really a super lens. Better than the Tamarin 150-600 lens. The one they did send me was a little heavy but my tripod await anxiously. Good luck in getting one.

Thanks CW. Took over 200 pictures but the ones I posted really came out good. There was too many fences in the way to get real good pictures of most of the caged animals.
