My condolences about being forced to downgrade to Windows 10. Worse than Windows ME and Windows 8. I am in the processes of moving back to Linux. Painful but worth it in the log run.

Windows 10. Things change at a whim. Update Hell. I grew up with Windows, Linux Unix etc. Used them as an Engineer and software developer. Windows 7 was great I developed Seismic recording systems based on Windows 7. Huge systems.

Windows 10 was shoved down up or Ass and performance went to pot reliability went down. Management got impossible. Enough!

Rant over. I think. :-{

You should be able to leave A/C power connected to your laptop with a modern laptop. My Dell does not charge the battery until it drops to about 75%. Then it charges it and stops. This is done to preserve the battery life.

Also all the newer batteries have battery protection electronics that will keep them from blowing up. They monitor the temperature and voltage at all times and disconnect the battery if there is a problem.

This is really important with lithium batteries. They catch fire and explode.

I worked as an EE for a Seismic Equipment company. When we first started using LI batteries in our portable equipment we spent a lot of time in the parking lot waiting for the fire department to arrive. Things changed quickly and the last three years I work there were no battery fires. We charged thousands of LI batteries every year.

I did the hardware design and software for the battery charging ckts. We built the protection electronics in the battery pack and you could not charge or drain the battery if the protection ckt detected a problem. Temperature too high or low and voltage or current to high or low.

The only way to abuse the batteries is to disassemble the battery to bypass the protection.

I do not have to imagine any thing. I have a young 65 lb lab. She loves everyone and lives to jump on them to show her love.

She will calm down in three or four years.

We were thankful one year when a snake moved in the camper on a deer lease. The thing was infested with mice and we were having a difficult time getting rid of them.

We went up opening day. No mice but plenty of sheds from the snake.

Problem solved snake and mice were gone.

We did check drawers and close places before reaching into them. We cleaned the thing up. Mice problems gone and the snakes left for good.

One of my grandma's raised eggs. She was constantly finding snakes in her chicken house. She would grab them by the tail and pop their head off. Mostly chicken snakes.

Great grand maw on the other side was pioneer type. She remember fighting the Kickapoo Indians when she was a kid. She was almost blind and in her 90's when I knew her. We drove up to visit she was out in her garden clearing weeds. I saw her grab a snake by the tail and pop it's head off. I looked at it and it was a poisonous copper head.

I just left them be unless they were causing a problem. I was taught if you kill it you have to eat it. I have eaten many a rattle snake.

Trex is slick. My only problem. I live on a farm a while lot of open space and 20 mpg winds are quite common. Chairs on the porch move with the wind direction.

Other than that it has been great. That in the price it is expensive.

My take on Squirrels on bird feeders.

"Bang" Gumbo. :-}

Make sure to shoot them in the head. Do not want to see the head floating in the Gumbo.

My Levi's from the year 2000 have a thoroughly ripped right knee, and they're stained with paint and grease. My other pair, from a few years after that, are showing their age. Last night, I ordered two pairs from Amazon for $22.00 each. An ad on Google showed me these lady's jeans for $98, and others cost up to $250. I wonder how long they will last.

I get mine from Sams Club. Sometimes as low as $16. Rustler jeans even less.

From the original cheap skate in Texas. :-}

I hate these windows 10 updates.

1. I have Huges Net. No way to force updates to occur during the Bonus Hours.
2. I no longer have full control on when the updates occur.
3. Updates are known to brick windows systems.
4. Every day at least after an update is a new world. It takes a whole lot of effort to discover all these &^%TYU changes. I use to be a Windows expert now I am struggling like every one else.

I am switching to Linux. Working on deciding to the best distortion and replacing all my processes with open source software. That Way I am in control!

Forgive the *&^% RANT.

I Have been developing in Windows since the first release. I have spent at least 50% of my time developing and using Solaris, Linux and other Unix type distributions. Microsoft Messed up again. Windows XP and 7 were great. Windows 10 SUCKS.
