By one interpretation, 42 literally means "anything" or, my favorite "whatever". You see, 42 is the number assigned to the ASCII character "*" (asterisk) which is used by computer programmers to mean "anything". Just contemplating what could happen and why the Democrats will not push to remove Trump from office.

1. As President, Mike Pence issue Trump a pardon.

2. Or, Pence resigns as President. Next in line is the Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi becomes the new interim President and vacates her position in the House. The House elects a new Speaker and California appoints someone to fill the now vacant position in the House. When Biden is sworn in as President, Nancy Pelosi is out.

Kindly understand that I am not advocating for or against any of these scenarios, just amusing myself about how politicians think.

The explanation, written by a professional photographer, says that this process was used in the mid 19th century to photograph the moon. The process was repeated last November for the picture in today's post. The process involves spreading the photosensitive chemicals on a plate of glass and requires that the entire process from exposing to developing be completed while still wet. It must be done within 15 minutes and has an ISO of approximately 1.
