Just contemplating what could happen and why the Democrats will not push to remove Trump from office.
1. As President, Mike Pence issue Trump a pardon.
2. Or, Pence resigns as President. Next in line is the Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi becomes the new interim President and vacates her position in the House. The House elects a new Speaker and California appoints someone to fill the now vacant position in the House. When Biden is sworn in as President, Nancy Pelosi is out.
Kindly understand that I am not advocating for or against any of these scenarios, just amusing myself about how politicians think.

What I think is going to happen: Joey resigns or is removed from office after 60 days, Harris becomes President. Six months later when everyone sees who she really is, she is impeached and Pelosi becomes President. That's what I see as the Dem playbook.

Harris as President would nominate a Vice-President to replace now-gone President Biden.
