Just some of my favorites. I left off the ones in British Columbia I recently posted. The first is an all time favorite. Peggy's Cove I have admit got a new sky, the original was just so bland. We were at Machu Picchu for an hour in good light when the sunrise cleared the adjoining mountains. The rock formations at the East Entrance of Zion are incredible, could have spent a lot of time there. A lucky shot with my cell phone of NYC as we approached LaGuardia Airport. Mendenhall Glacier from a helo was so much better (and more fun) than Columbia Icefields in BC. You can just see the Inca Trail in the upper right of the Sacred Valley 5 shot pano. I suffered altitude sickness there and was lucky to get any pictures from the "balcony". We did an ATV trail ride in the Savage River Basin and this was the last picture I took before we left the area. Always loved the light on the cabin. Maybe another post for this series if you enjoy it. Hope it doesn't sound too egotistical!

Regards, Robert

Some recent water lily shots at At Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, SC. I was a little discouraged that many of the water gardens were barren of water lilies. Only the wonderful one near the old kitchen didn't disappoint me. They cleaned this one out a few years ago, so not many dragonflies roaming the garden. The last one is old, one of my favorites with a dragonfly.

Hi kpmac, Thanks! My birding lens is the 150 - 600 Tamron with the D7200 crop factor I can reach out to 900mm.

Hi tbell, Yes I had the image in my head of it going right to left and didn't think about the lettering being reversed. Thanks!

Excellent images of some truly magnificent scenery. I enjoyed the download of each one. But when viewing the download of the second image, I noticed that all the lettering on the side of the train is backwards. Could this be because you flipped the image? Just curious.

Thanks Meives, I think they arrange those canoes like that every day so they get in everyone's pics! lol! 8 feet of elevation is a mountain here in the low country! ;o)

Wonderful collection. Love the color and B & W. The Emerald Lake was great with the red canoes up front. Warm colors in the front on cool colors in the back make for 3 dimensional views. All are good and I thank you for posting. Our mountains in Florida are not as big. Ha Ha

Thanks Paul, I made some adjustments. My right leg is an inch shorted than my left! Just kidding lol!

Nice pictures although five of them will need to straighten up the horizon. Shooting from a moving car (or a train) is sometimes difficult. You can easily improve it (clockwise) on your computer.
Thank you for sharing!

Good for you, beautiful places and Lake Louise will be thawed by then! lol! The Icefields was a major disappointment, just a gravel pit after the snow thaws and way too many people on the glacier at the same time.

Some shots from the falls on our brief vacation to the NC mountains. There are no streams or waterfalls in the low country of S. Carolina. No tripod, just a fence post to lean on. F/22, ISO 100 0.3 to 1/15 sec. If I had known we were hunting waterfalls I would have brought the neutral density filters, a tripod and remote trigger release. Luckily we were in dense tree cover which allowed the slow shutter speeds.
