[quote=SX2002]I did post this in the Post Processing section but never had any luck, can anyone help..?

A LOT more work than it looks like. Too many corrections to list here. It looks good on my monitor, but everyone's monitor is different.

There are many nice beaches along the NJ coast, and Long Branch is one of my favorites. This SOOC picture was taken on a beautiful morning but could use some TLC to bring out its potential.

The attached image is SOOC and was taken hand-held with an attempt to preserve highlights in the sky. Trust me - there’s a nice image hiding in this file that could really benefit from your editing expertise.

Feel free to download this image to your computer. Then you can edit it any way that you think is an improvement. Composites, black and white conversions, textures, sky swaps, inverted images, solarization, or whatever else you think will improve the photo are acceptable techniques for your edit. When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. Edits will be accepted until 9pm Eastern time on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after that time because we will begin voting then.

Thank you for your efforts and your participation.

Hope you have fun with this one.

In PS - reversed image - stretched canvas to relocate pier and horizon - added a few clouds to sky - eliminated stuff on horizon - slight dodging and burning.

I especially like your use of foreground features. The last photo is my favorite.

Lol! I immediately thought of some of the interior pictures I've seen displayed for real estate sales!

The photographer who recently shot my homes' interior used a 16mm lens. I could have told him what was going to happen ...., and it did. Terribly distorted both horizontal and vertical features. The realtor thinks he is a great photographer! Go figure.

Very nice shot! Interesting to me that this was shot at ISO 1000. Just thinking back, not too many years, when ISO 1000 would never have been used because of the digital or film "Grain". Now we have cameras that can make very acceptable images at ISO 10,000, and above.

IMO, do not select a wrap that uses part of the image area for the wrap. Choose a wrap option that uses a black or other color for the canvas area used in the frame wrap.

Agree Stan. Allowing them to "wrap" the actual picture (depending on who does it) will sometimes throw the match between the 2 pictures off by quite a bit.

How do I split and print a landscape into 3 panels? I am going to print on canvas as a wrap in some cases but not in others.

I have done this several times with panorama photos I have taken. I use Photoshop to divide the original into 3 equal parts. Re-size them to the dimensions that will match the eventual print size i.e., for a 16" x 20" print make each file 4" x 5" or 8" x 10". The attached 3 photo's make a 5' wide x 16" high Tryptic.

Nice shot. Does seem like a lot of work just to end up with an ugly Stingray.
