Don’t miss Antelope Canyon(s). The two are about 70 Miles from Monument Valley and well worth the drive.

I got a few hurried shots of it approaching Rochelle Illinois. None of mine are nearly as good as yours.

If you will be traveling thru the valley in an open vehicle, take a ziplock bag big enough to hold your camera and lens. Don’t change the lens especially while moving. The area is very dusty and everything will be covered in no time.
