I have have nothing but good experiences of buying and selling used lenses and equipment to KEH. Some other used equipment buyers evaluation and pricing seems to take longer. I selected a body that I wished to purchase, I contacted a salesperson who said he would go have the body form the warehouse and take a second look. After getting the body in had he stated that he felt the the body might over rated and volunteered to find like body with that fit my needs and price range. I do have an advantage, since they are in a suburb I have the option of dropping of equipment for evaluation, I also have the option of making an appointment to look at a specific lens or body. KEH's process is easy and takes the guess work out of buying used equipment.

I recommend the Think Tank line of bags, their bags are well made. They provide great customer service. Think Tank was founded by camera users.

KEH by far I have bought used camera equipment from them. Their appraisals of equipment are fair, their process of send equipment for evaluation is quick and simple. Getting paid for used equipment one you decided to sell to KEH is also quick

Good for her. A wedding photographer friend of mine said a few weeks ago he was taking all the required photos of the families after the ceremony had taken place. He became constantly upstaged by phone camera users, and others with cameras. Every time arranged the participants, and composed the shot some other camera person would either jump in front of him and start shooting. He figured the after a few shots they would step aside, nope. He finally told the wedding coordinator and both families, "I will not take another shot until all of the people stop taking photos with their cameras, the limos you hired out front waiting out front of the church, the limo supervisor said your clock is running, and when your times has expired they will drive away." Amazingly he was able to complete the shoot without a great deal of interruption. The clock was also running for him and his two assistants, as they had another wedding to photograph also.

#1 Could be tighter cropped, and you might to consider removing the silver stand from over players #29's shoulder
#2 Also stand to remove some of dead space in the photo.
#3 Is a good harp well composed shot.
#4 I would not submit
#5 Is a great shot if you wish you might crop a little tighter, and also remove the player or white object from the player's middle section

The person who gave that advice must have had a full frame camera they wanted to sell. I have been using L lenses on a 7D since I received that camera and have never had a problem. It is possible the advice giver may have confused using EF-S lens on a full frame camera, and that will not work.

The key to answer is where you will be allowed to photo, if you are allowed to photograph from the ground level of the venue the best suggestion has to be the 70-200 2.8 lens. You might also consider the 24-70 lens also. If you are relegated to shoot from the stands, you may wish to consider a 100-400 lens. If money is not an object consider the 300 2.8, or the 400 2.8. How deep your lens budget is will how much you have to spend. If this is a continuing event consider renting lenses to see which one are a good fit for you. If when considering the two higher cost lenses the 300 mm 2.8 and the 400 mm 2.8 you might want to take a look at used lens sellers might offer to fit your needs.

The idea of the wedding is to of course have the wedding of course. No matter how laid back you might think it will be most weddings are drama pits. If as the father of groom you wish to shots of you in photos, that may be complicated. Hire a photographer who knows what shot are required. Give the albums to the couple as a wedding gift, save the drama. In retrospect later the couple should appreciate the capture of the event minus the drama, and shoulda, coulda thoughts.

I have sold used equipment and lenses with great results. If you call one of KEH's appraisers and you accurately describe your equipment, they are great at giving a verbal appraisal of the value of your equipment. I have also purchased used equipment from KEH with great results

Sony as a company, not just a camera company, it's such a large entertainment company. Sony has such a head start in the mirrorless market. Sony's weakness may have been a series of lenses that are made for their mirrorless bodies. Sony of course is now making and marketing lenses specifically for their mirrorless lines. I needed to upgrade my primary body, at the time my most logical move would have been to purchase a Canon 7D Mark ii to replace my Canon 7D initially offered for $1,700. I needed fast auto focus, fast frames per second. If I had chosen to purchase a Canon body that offered the fastest frames per second at the time, I would have had to spend in the area of $4,000 or more. My decision to purchase a Sony A6000, for the then what was considered the fastest auto focus, and fast frame rate. Sony also included 250 custom features. I used adapters to be able to use my Canon lenses on my Sony camera. I applaud Nikon in offering two mirrorless cameras. Nikon is going to offer lens adapters for the majority of their lens offerings to their new mirrorless camera bodies. This has got to be a well thought out sales plan. The path that Canon and Nikon take will be determined of course by how many user become mirrorless users. Sony may now lack the professional support, i.e. CPS and NPS to gain stronger pro users. Sales will determine whether Canon and Nikon can close their gap in mirrorless offerings

Ligthroom noise reduction seems to work on lower ISO levels where you need to reduce noise. If I have higher ISO images that need more severe noise reduction, I use Topaz de Noise. My best philosophy is not to use so much noise reduction that the fine details are lost
