Has anyone sold things through KEH? If so, what was your experience. Where would you go to sell?
Thanks

I have had good success buying and selling at
Mpb.com. They seem to offer better price on buying your items then all the other buyers.

I sell either here or on ebay, I have never sold through vendors like KEH or Adorama simply because they have to profit from the sale. Amazon also offers a selling service similar to eBay's.

...last time I sold on Ebay they took 20%...that's not profit?

I think that ebay takes about 9%, maybe 10% and PayPal takes about 3%, I think that is probably less than what the large retailers charge for consignment and certainly less than operating and promoting a storefront. Ebay is actually a pretty good deal when you think about it

I have bought and sold on KEH with no problems. The same with B&H.

I have sold and bought with KEH and have had absolutely no problems. I like and trust their grading system a lot. I have also sold and bought gear thru UHH’s Members Buy/Sell/Trade Classifieds section. I have bought used photo gear from B&H Photo and Adorama.

...well, buddy, they (Ebay) took $40 out of a $200 sale from me...this includes an "insertion" fee and a couple of others. I just looked and absolutely couldn't figure out how they figure their cut, it's different for so many items. <shrug> ...all I know is I thought (and still do) that I got ripped off. Ignorance on my part a prime factor, of course, but now if I want to sell something it's an ad on my FB page, here, or even Craig's List (which I know about precautions and all...I've done alot of dealing there) but never again will I *sell* on Ebay. However I *will* buy. YMMV.

Agree - they offered me the best prices when compared to B&H, KEH and Adorama. It was very easy to work with them...

I like KEH very much. Have sold LOTS of gear to them--and bought lots as well. MPB and I are currently transacting a trade and I hope that goes well also.

You should try right here on UHH first. I have sold 1 item and bought 2 items with great results.

I have always used B&H. They pay you about 50% of what they sell it for but it is no hassle. If selling multiple items on eBay they could be baught by multiple parties requiring multiple runs to PO for shipping. Don’t forget insurance. And then there is the collection risk and potential returns to deal with. Of course eBay isn’t free. Maybe a hassle free transaction with certainty is worth 50%.
