Maybe, just maybe, some of ya'll need to wipe the smudges off your screen. I understand top quality lenses for film cameras have dropped in price.

Then again, did I miss seeing some of those absolutely tack sharp photos that are infinitely sharper than the Tamron? Thought I looked at everything in this thread but, please point me to the ones I've missed.

Thanks,
RegisG (Not related to Regis but, sure wish my shots were as good)

MTG44, excellent. Just as clear & sharp as the ones Regis and others have shown. I simply don't understand the detractors that complain about the quality of shots taken with this lens. They have a problem.

Thanks for sharing this shot.

Nice shots, especially from car. That homestead is a great composition. Big change in terrain.

I've worn trifocals for years and am considering the new generation of progressive eyeglass lenses. Anyone have experience with these new eyeglass lenses and if so, how do they affect viewing through the lens? Should add that I have adapted to the difficulties associated with trifocals, but would like an improvement if anyone can attest.... 8-)

I've used progressives for over 10 years now (longer than my serious photography). I do not have any problem at all. You may need to find the "right" position for your particular glasses but, mine are automatically right on. If you have no trouble with your existing tri's then insist they make the progression match them.

Well, I like it. Would not have thought to shoot it but, nevertheless, I like it.

Thanks for looking David. That is a enormously powerful stream of water coming out.

I pass by this dam on I-40 at least a few times a week (east of Nashville) and finally took a few minutes to exit and wind around to get both sides below the dam.

I'm probably 200 yards away (at least) for these shots. I don't know how big that nozzle is or why they spray like this but, it's pretty cool. They open lot bigger flow gated when they are lowering the water or generating.
All with Canon 70-200

Great shot. So much for that macro lens I have. Might as well sell it and use my 150-600 for those real close-ups.
