Old Sheldon Church Ruins. First burned by the English during the Revolutionary War. Was rebuilt then destroyed by the North during the Civil War.

It's certainly elaborate.....over the top as they say. On the other had it's reassuring in a way to think that in 1925 we (western man) was still capable of building something like this.

Can anyone recommend a good loupe for inspecting proof sheets?

Thanks.

Having been in the Printing Business for 40 years I would highly recommend the Edmund Scientific Loupe. Not sure how many different types they have but the one I have has a top diameter of 1-5/8" and is easily adjustable to you eye sight

NO NO NO don't even try you will damage both lenses.
The Nikon TC is ONLY to be used on most f/2.8 or greater lenses.

Thanks - I thought something was not right. And as with all camera gear - I never force anything. No camera equipment is designed to be forced!!

The tele is an AF-S TC-17EII but it will not mount to the sigma.
I can mount the Sigma APO Tele 2x EXDG but would rather not use an f stop f13

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm posting this following a suggestion I made to another member yesterday.

I use second curtain sync in my seascape shots to illuminate the foreground including when shooting long exposures. The flash fires right before the exposure finishes. Here are a couple of examples: the first is an exposure of just over 4 minutes and the second is 13 seconds. It doesn't matter how long the exposure is, the principle is just the same.

Is that the same as "Rear Curtain" sync?

I use preview on my Mac - it comes as part of OS X. Within preview there are annotation features that allow adding circles, lines, arrows, squares and text.

Either a full screen capture or selected screen area can easily be annotated as you see above.

Where do you find "Preview" on an iMAC?
