Most of my photographs are taken while traveling on a motorcycle. "What i see" They depict places I go, things I see and people I meet. The camera is a reason to get my dead ass of the bike seat. Now that I have all those photographs how do I get others to look at them? It's dilemma that has been faced many times, how many can one frame and stick on the wall? In my case I make photo stories and put them on CD, giving them away to those whom I think might be interested. Some stories are a collection of what interested me at the time, others one needs to be able to read between the lines and some are driven by the music. Many times I hear a song and know what photos I need, whether or not I got them is in the eyes of the person viewing the video.

This story, Towards The Sun, I made for those reading Ugly Hedgehog in hopes the you might enjoy it and that I might also spark an interest in some of you to make stories of you own. If you do please post your link here, how else is anyone going to see what you have captured?

Thanks for watching and look for me on the road. http://youtu.be/poFAyiQWMmY

Yes, even a bird photographer can get distracted, occasionally. When butterflies come within range, I won't pass up a shot. Here are a few I've kept.
Hope you like them.

Really well done Joe...

We went for a walk before breakfast the other day and look what was waiting! And, I just happened to have my camera. It's almost become like an added appendage (the camera I mean)

Nice capture and I really like the "God" beams...

Don't see anything.

I'm sorry about that, the image came out really dark, so I deleted and haven't had time to see if it was my monitor or something else.

I'm stepping a bit out of my comfort zone of this photo. Shooting inside a pourly lit barn. The only light was provided mainly by the window or cracks in the wall seams. I caught this fellow intensly working on something by the light of the window. I didn't want to ruin the moment or mood, so quietly took the shot without his knowing.

Nice job James...

Hello again, I haven't done much recently, been busy catching up with my card making & watching the grandchildren (hard work) LOL. Today I took a run down the Clyde Valley to New Lanark ( World Heritage Site )Took some shots around the village before walking along the river towards the Falls of Clyde. There are 4 waterfalls, but I only managed to get 1 as it was very muddy and slippery. I took a few shots along the way before making my way back to the car. Should have had my walking boots on. Hope these are ok.
Thanks
Jeanette

Pic I took tonight at an art show, this is one of the artists. Used a 35-105 Minolta lens, it is a soft focus lens I use for portraits mainly.

Very nice, I have always loved B & W portraits. I just noticed you live down the road a few miles from me.
