Metadata Preset in Lightroom 5

In the Library module, select all the photos you want to update.
Right click on any selected photo, click on "Metadata Presets", click on your preset name and then click "All Selected" in the "Apply Metadata Preset" window that appears.

Night time pictures too yellow..why?

When you shoot RAW the WB along with other IQ settings in camera are ignored. The RAW file contains the values from the R, G and B sensors exactly as received thru' the lens. When you view the image on the camera LCD you are seeing a JPG conversion with all IQ settings applied. The RAW file you download to your computer contains none of the IQ settings, you have to use your PP software to apply the settings you require.

Windows XP at it's end

Software manufacturers withdraw support for older versions all the time and the earth is still turning on it's axis, get over it! Your 13 year old OS (XP) already does not support a lot of recent software and hardware!

IMHO, PSE & LR are not competitors, each can do things the other cannot. Get both, you with then have the best of both worlds!
