I've been wanting to take a picture of this old Plymouth since I've been traveling back and forth to the ranch for four years. It is especially weathered on it's trunk which faces south. I'm sure it's been there since the little house it stands in front of was abondoned.

As I'm looking at these couple of pages and thinking about posting mine, I'm struck at how many times we all have read the line.... " I just LOVE _____ " -- old cars, fireworks, birds, barns, clouds, statues, buildings old and new, dogs, cats, rusty things, shiney things, odd things, colorful things, parks, lakes and the list goes on.... and I too have a love of many of these BUT I really think that as photographers we ALL just LOVE things that, make us smile, and that give us joy that we want to share with others, and that reinforce the image that love is constant and forgiving. Sorry.... did not mean to get carried away.. its just that I LOVE photography!!!

I found out you Canadians have a love of old vehicle preservation when we spent a night in Pinticton, BC. There was a huge gathering of show cars. I really liked those with the matching trailers.

We had a full day yesterday, early morning parade, early afternoon Birthday party, evening BBQ and cul-d-sac fireworks.... I set up my tripod for the fireworks, but it was so cumbersome I finally just took most of them hand held.. The parade is my usual fare... the fireworks are much better than I've taken before,, but could be better.. rather than post multiple pictures - I've created what I'm going to call my 4th of July Collage Collection.. there's something here for everyone,, Bikers, planes, cars, horses and fireworks.
