Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful responses. I really do appreciate those who take the time to help others out.
Just FYI, (as a matter of pride) I don't want anyone to think that I didn't know that my 2 lenses wouldn't work. It was just an example of what I like as a guide to any lens suggestions.
Thank you again.
I thought I made a firm decision today to upgrade from my Canon 60D to the Canon 5D Mark IV but my head is swimming trying to decide on lenses etc. Currently I have a Sigma EX 10-20mm; Canon EF 100mm 2.8L both of which I love, but find myself going back to the kit lens that came with my camera (Canon EF S 18-200 mm 3.5-5.6) which really needs to be replaced.
If that's not enough to worry about I started wondering if my Photoshop CS6 will work with this camera. I really didn't want to switch to Photoshop CC (please, no hate for that- I know it might not seem logical...).
So, will CS6 work?
If you want to throw in a suggestion for lenses I would be happy to listen!

I've submitted a version for your consideration. Just for future reference ...... this sort of project should be placed in the Post Processing Digital Images forum, and a whole bunch of editors would submit their edits.
Thank you Bob. I wasn't aware of that forum. I will have to check it out.

I tried editing the pic, it didnt come out as good as I would have liked so I was bad and messed with it. Dont be mad at me.
I love it. My Mom would have laughed. Thank you to everyone that worked on this difficult project. Your kindness is very touching.
Love it! She would have laughed!
Thank you for working in this. That is very kind of you!
That is so sweet of you. My goal is a cropped photo of her head and partial shoulders. Your's looks like a good place to start.
If you click "store original" I can download your photo.
I couldn't get the photoshop version to upload. In my not very good at all attempt to edit this into a head shot I did try to whiten her teeth and eyes a little, and make her skin look better.
My Mom died in February. She was so goofy that we have few photos of her where she wasn't making a face, or where her glasses aren't dark. I've been trying to edit this photo into a head shot to frame for my Dad, who really loves this photo of her. It has to be cropped so much that there is tons of noise which I can't seem to reduce. If you love editing and want to spend some time working on this, I would appreciate the help. Thank you!
I am going to attempt to upload the original and my editing attempt. I tried to upload in photoshop format but it would not upload!
Too bad I can't ship you a few of my extras, since I've done this a time or two (or three). However, even at the most remote state parks, even in Alaska, I asked about where I could get a charger shipped (like the park office) and I've gotten it in a day or 2, every time. I agree, call ahead to where you will be, and ask if you can have something shipped there. We saw a UPS truck driving on a steep, curvy, Virginia mountain road, one time, and sure enough, he was getting my charger delivered within the one day shipping deadline.

Good Sunday to you all. Went to a garage sale yesterday and walked away with 2 boxes of photographic history. One box contained some old portraits, 2 tintypes and 2 and a half dozen 4x5 and 5x7 glass plate negatives. The other box was full of b&w glass Magic Lantern slides. All the photos spanned about 50 years from around the 1870's ( tintypes) through the early 1920's. Found one of a one horse open sleigh that Kathy wanted to use as this year's Christmas card, until I looked at the next negative, and found, Bill, the three legged Christmas horse.

I do genealogy. Somewhere there is a great-great-great-granddaughter who would die to see these photos. It's a shame that they will never be matched to a name. Lost forever. It breaks my heart. I am glad that they are in the hands of someone who at least appreciates the art. I love old photos. I am blessed that I met a third cousin on-line who had an old photo album (1880's) that had several of same photos as an album that was passed down to me. We were able to ID a 5th great-grandmother who was born in 1803. Though he is in his 80's and I am not, we love the same things (old photos, taking pics of old barns and lighthouses, and family trees.)
I am being told that I am rather stupid because since 2001 I have download ed over 40,000 of my photos from my camera directly into iPhoto. I process RAW photos in Photoshop CS6, play around a bit more in photoshop, and save back out to iPhoto.
I am being told that I am using too much space in my computer by using iPhoto (although I have plenty of room) and I MUST switch to LR5, which I intend to do this afternoon. I am being told that this will be much easier than my present workflow. Wish me luck!
I've been studying photoshop since I won CS3 at the MAC users group in Detroit, for which I am still immensely grateful. I usually think I am doing great with it, and then learn something new and want to go back and re-process many of my photos.
