I thought you'd catch that moon in the "cherry picker"! Have fun tomorrow.
Picked out some. Took the boys to a small animal farm this week and they had a row of sunflowers by a fence. Tried a few things to make them a bit more interesting. Sort of like "Simonizing" or "Doing a William"
Cropped the fence but the flowers were swallowed by the foliage background

Tried one sunset overlay and used a different type of light layering (not hard light, but something similar(

Started again and did a cloud overlay, and "exclusion" or "soft light" I think, then saturated the flowers more

Found this brightening a corner of our yard
Also went on a friend's boat and their son was trying to master skiing on one ski. It was getting to be sunset. These are a couple favs.
I won't be around much tomorrow, so I'm going to drop a couple and run. These pictures are of a local Great Blue Heron parent and one of it's chicks. I've been following the parents since last winter. Today was the first time I spotted one of their chick. I think they have three, but I could only get one in the photo. I hope they stay for this winter as well.

Got a photo of your ride?
We live at the foot of the Appalachians and on this side all is flat but on the other side it becomes the Appalachia that we know

Really neat shots. The first one is so typical "Men under the Hood"
