For those that are interested, I have attached another floral image
so sorry to confuse everyone...
My error
What I mean is the "playback" mode after I take the shot - it seems like I always get a different display, rather than the shot with some of the metadata and a histogram. I just need to know how to alter the back of the screen AFTER capturing a shot
Thanks!
Interesting camera, capable of super images. I have not used the camera extensively, yet, but this one seems to be super when adding 1/3 to 2/3 of a stop.
This Gx7 will likely become my back-up system
BACK DISPLAY - however, I cannot get rid of the back display -how is this done, is there a special dial ? CAN ANYONE ASSIST?
nice shutter speed, great image!
well, camera came back from Nikon and the AF is instantaneous - Although the repair facility said that the issue was not covered by warranty, I believe that the camera was prob defective from the outset. I can never remember this body focusing as fast as it does, today.
In summary, here's hoping that the focus issue now is a non-factor, as the image quality has always been very good

"Compression" issue? You ran over the camera and compressed it into a pancake?
ok, smart azz -stay away from my threads since you only want to add more angst, which I dont need
I was told that this is a compression issue and not covered by warranty -directly from a Nikon repair facility in ILL
I am very disappointed in my <1 year old Nikon D7000. the camera does not autofus correctly 60% of the time, but Nikon said that the camera issues are NOT covered by the Nikon warranty. RIP OFF- I might as well have a manual focus Nikon. As a 20+ year Nikon shooter, that is the only brand I have ever owned, until yesterday.
I purchased a Lumix Gx7 - I want to see if this one will at least last for 1 year. Anyone have D7000/7100 and GX7?
Nikon -you really should be ashamed, should trash this one, really loyal until 2 weeks ago....
not the only way -you can always get closed which automatically reduces the depth of field
Or you can use macro lens, extension tubes, bellows, reversible lens, etc
really like the third image
Below, is an orchid capture shot with Alien Bee 800
Think spring!
If it were only spring, again
2012
great capture, really well composed and esp like the catch light in the eye!
SWAMP Rabbit
this is a real swamp rabbit, hidden in the rushes
the swamp rabbits live right next to the water, often within 10 feet
this capture was only 2-3 feet from the water in CHS, SC
