Do you know the name of these? I have grown them for several years, but never knew what they are called. Got the seed from a friend. He brought them back from South America, I think. Four of these in a pot of chili makes it about right.
Here are a couple of mine. Don't know what they are called either.
Did you notice that when they played the "Star Spangled Banner", that the whole field of thousands of people were silent and respectful? Not like some of the ballgames I've seen here.
Beautiful artwork, Robert. With your permission, I would like to make a machine embroidery pattern from it. Just for my own satisfaction, not for sale.
Each night at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival they had fireworks. First on were four para gliders who jumped from an airplane and shot fireworks from their bodies on the way down. Impressive, but not something I could do. Even in the daylight, let alone in the dark.
We were there three days. Morning and evening. The Wells Fargo balloon never lifted when we were there. There was a big tennis shoe just south of Vincent. They blew it up partially and let us walk inside it. That was interesting. It was $100 thousand new. Can buy it now for $30 thousand if you're interested. If it cost that much, I can't imagine what the cow and dog cost.
