Thanks. I saw the one they had down at "The Cape" many years ago and The Michigan Space Center in Jackson, Michigan had an F-1 main stage engine on display before the museum was disbanded several years ago. More than 1,5 million pounds of thrust out of each of those engine... amazing.

While in tech school at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville ('66-'67) VP Hubert Humphrey came for an evening test firing of a Saturn V engine. We filled my car and snuck around through the woods to a hilltop about 1/2 -3/4 mile away. It was just after sundown and the rocket engine was mounted on a brightly light pad for a static firing. Upon ignition the sound was deafening, the ground shook like what I imagine like an earthquake to be. I have never witnessed such awesome power and that was just one of five.
