I would like to know what you use to keep the pop-up ads from appearing on the screen when browsing UHH.
I use an iMAC, Sierra OS and Firefox and sometimes Safari. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for the information.

We can easily recommend corresponding Canon equipment, but you'd first have to know what your friend is using. You likely can 'up the performance' of your current 50D with a lens change rather than both a lens and camera body.

Hi Dog: I have a 50D and Canon lenses. I found that I needed to do the micro-adjustment (the 50D has this option) on many of my lenses and the photos improved in focus. Have you done this adjustment? Good luck!

Does Piccure + do a great job of getting rid of Lens & motion problems?
I thinking about adding it to LR & PS. I have been trying the 30 day trial for
about 10 days now. Some photos look better but most I don't see any
improvement.
Please give me your option.
Thanks

I have been using P+ for a while now and it works well for me. Sometimes the effect is subtle and sometimes it is large depending on how much motion or lens correction was there originally. I have also downloaded the manual, found in the menu section in the upper right of the P+ screen. I also use the split screen to view the image for comparison and enlarge it to a 1:1 viewing. I know it has helped me a lot. Good luck with using it.

Hello Ken:

Sorry to hear of your focusing problems. One thought that came to mind is perhaps the viewfinder diopter was moved and nothing will be in focus for your eye. I showed a friend my camera and he tried to look through the viewfinder and could not get the camera to focus. Finally figured out that the viewfinder dipoter setting for my eye was totally different for his eye. Adjustng the dipoter solved the issue. Good luck.

In this case, the daughter would love to maintain the business, but she doesn't have the business expertise. The store doesn't generate the kind of income that would let her hire a professional business manager. If she doesn't find a buyer, it will close.

Jerry: Perhaps the daughter should contact the Small Business Administrations program called SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives). These are retired business people from all typed of business and industry who volunteer to provide consulting and business advice, I believe free. One of these folks may be able to set her on the course of keeping the business. Might be worth a try. Good Luck.

Depending upon the flash drive there could be an obscure slide button, but of all f.d.s I have ever had none had a lock. On the Mac after plugging the FD in open Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. The Mac should 'see' the FD and show an entry in the left panel. Select that entry and explore the options across the top. You can refirmat the FD in the Partition option, choose 1 partition. There is a file format choice step, so set to suit your needs. You sound Mac savvy, so all this is probably old hat.

Thanks John, Have not heard that one before. I will check into it.

I have an 8GB flash drive I want to reuse. I opened the drive on my iMac and moved all the files to the trash bin. There is nothing showing on the screen when I open the drive another time so all looks good. Here is the issue. I am trying to save a photo lecture from my Power Point on the desk top machine to the flash drive. The message I get is that the flash drive is full. I see nothing on the drive when I look at it and I do not see any locking option of the drive for me to unlock. How do I clean out a flash drive to reuse it. I am using an iMac and El Capitan OS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the 500T version of the lens. I cannot find it on the Canon web site or by calling Canon CPS. All I see Canon offering is the 500D and no mention of either the 500T or the 250T. My question is: are these older T series lenses the two element type? They work very well for me on my 100-300 zoom lenses for close-up photos. I have both the 500T and the 250T for about 20 years. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I recently purchased a Sony sound bar for my SHARP tv. Suddenly the sound just stopped working. Now it's on again? Anyone have a similar experience with a sound bar? Would appreciate any ideas. I also changed the optical cord. to a six footer. Thanks

Hi Phildee:

I have a soundbar on my Samsung TV. Sometimes when the sound stops, I find that the button that controls the input get pressed accidentally. i have to go through all the input options to find the proper input and get the sound back.
Hope this helps. Good Luck

Hi Lozza: Before selling the 5D, have you tried to do any micro adjustment with the lenses you have on the 5D. Perhaps it is just a front or back focus issue that is easy to test for and adjust. The Canon lenses you have are good ones. Just a thought for consideration. Good luck.

You can't attach an image, but as Linda said you can link to one.

You can also embed any image that can be accessed via HTTP by using the ... tags. (The angle brackets need to be replaced with square brackets. Using square brackets in a text message on UHH causes the editor to have a hissy fit, so the examples use angle brackets that it doesn't have a problem with.)

I'll send you a PM with the above. If you hit the "quote reply" it will show the exact way it was done.
