Sorry, problems on my end loading pix!
Couple of shots from this week. What do you think?
Thanks to everyone, got my pix back!! They could have all been replaced but it took me 2-3 years to collect some of them, getting them back is much easier. Thanks again everyone...John
OK Linda from Maine, I found them by going to "pictures" and they are all there, but how do I get them back into my Picasa library?
The collage is still there, I cannot get my original pix to go back to their files.
I have been using Picasa for a few years with OK results for me (I am not that computer literate). I created a collage a few months back and was trying to put the pictures back into their files. When I checked "edit" it told me that it could not find the files or that they had been moved, renamed or deleted. I know that I did not delete them, can anyone tell me if they can be recovered or anyone have any ideas. Thanks...John
Looking forward to the Mopar Nationals next weekend, Aug 7-9
National Trails raceway, 3000 plus cars, great show. Mopar or No car!!
I do not usually do much black and white or sepia, but I have a couple that were taken at a Civil war re-enactment that I am getting ready to show. Any thought on what color of mat to use?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks to everyone for looking and comments!
A couple I took at a Civil War re-enactment. Sepia seems to work better.
We were there 2 years ago in mid April. Best time for spring flowers, though may be a little early. Weather was perfect.
We flew into Grand Junction,it is less that 2 hour drive to Moab.
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to explore Arches,Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point. We spent 10 days and did not even come close to seeing everything. I really want to go back,it is one of my favorite National Parks. Enjoy! Go to the visitors center in Moab and pick up info. I got a brochure that told best time to be at different features (sunset/sunrise etc) this was a big help in planning each day
Welcome to UHH. Look forward to seeing some of your shots. I have been a Mopar fanatic for 50+ years. We have a 72 Road Runner, and I just bought a new 300 S.
I have thought on this for quite awhile and hesitated to post for fear of being misunderstood. I will be the first to admit that many of my photos are not the greatest, but I have learned in 35 years of photography what a good photo should be.
My thought is that we are doing a disservice to our fellow "Hoggers" when we tell them how great their pictures are when they are over/under exposed, out of focus etc.I realize we have many levels of photographers in our group, but we should be trying to help one another become better. When we tell someone their pictures are good when they are not we are not helping them.We should be able to offer constructive criticism without being mean or "self righteous" but encouraging others to be better. Just my opinion, thanks for letting me ramble.
Anyone able to ID this? Looks like a cross between a horsefly and bumble bee. Has six legs, three sections to its body with what looks like a stinger on the end. Beautiful detail in wings.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback. Will check out the possibilities....John
