Haven't shot any birds, but this may give you an idea how well it works.
high school rodeo it was raining hard
I have a tokina 80-200 at-x pro and the pictures are tack sharp with it on a dx or fx sensor. It doesn't have vr, but in good light not needed. It brings out the sharpness of the d800.
Wish I could have been at bike week with you. Maybe a different kind of dealer, but mine has bent over backwards for me. When they did the recall on the brake light switch, they game me a soft-tail to run around on, and even washed the bike. The sun finally came out today and did a couple of hundred miles and 600 pics. If I'm not talking about bikes, it's cameras.
Some of the girls. They got just a dirty as the guys.
He will probably be hurting this morning.
The high school rodeos are the most fun. The kids just give it everything they have.
Make sure and take lots of cards for the d800, you will need them.
Once you get comfy with RAW and manual, you won't go back.
She is alright, but camera looked better at the time.
It was raining hard, but didn't stop these kids. First try with the D800.
It is raining today, so no riding but the high school rodeo was today and shot a little over 700 pics. Will post some later. The camera is more than I expected.
She brought the long awaited d800 today
Very first picture
I have had the same problems. Just delete the folder, and export it again. Have had to do this several time on some exports.
Think the only one that got them are selling them on Ebay
I replace my sb800 with one and it is much easier to program, and the flash is stronger.
