Well, yes and no. Common usage is changing the rules. We have had lengthy discussions about that, and a little research will show you that many authorities say it is an alternative spelling.

I agree.......

If your loved on sees Santa this Christmas, give him my address and ask him if he could leave me a Leica M9 body.

(Well it's a nice thought anyway)

Enjoy the Canon.....

The 105 is my all time favorite lens.
How did you get this close without him taking off?
(Don't tell me he was high)

Nice shot

Canon 8220. I turn it off. I don't use it daily.
It cleans the heads SOMTTIMES when I turn it on.

I guess I'm just too old to understand why everyone feels a need to manipulate their pictures after they have taken them. Let's go old school, and play with the manual setting, aperture and shutter priority. Nowadays with the advent of digital photography one doesn't have to wait for days to see their results, it's instantaneous. Compose your shot, take your picture, and then try to change it using the camera settings. Patience will pay off, and you will develop a better understanding of photography and your pictures will reflect it also. There is a reason the camera manufacturers put those knobs or dials on a camera, it's called creativity. Try that first, and if your still not happy, then manipulate your pictures on a computer. Good luck, good learning, and great pictures.

Amen to that....

Absolutely nothing better than Costco. They even take back computers up to 90 days, N0 questions asked.

As I understand it, they do not make their money off the products, but off membership fees.

Costco makes a minimum profit of 15% on the products it sells.

Yes. I've heard nothing but nightmares about them. As soon as you place the order a high pressure sales person calls you and tries to sell upgrades, warranties, move you to a kit that you don't want, etc. If you say no the hang up and the next thing that happens (some times) you are notified by email that your order is on backorder and has been cancelled. If they do send it to you, it may be an open box or grey market item like it was for my friend Jack who also purchased a 7D from them. He got one with a dirty mirror and sensor. Although he couldn't tell the box had been opened, he still had to call them, hassle with an RMA number, ship it back and wait for another one to come.

Buy if from B&H or Adorama. You can't go wrong at either one of those places.[/quote

Besides those two, Cameta Camera has always treated me well. Add em to the list.
I've had the same experiences with B&H. I'm from NYC. They try hard to sell. Sometimes to the point of being dishonest. But that was a long time ago. Maybe they are better now.
