GummyToo, You would not believe the original photograph. It was an overcast day that was not conducive to photographing. So yes I PS'd it to death. This is the image I saw in my mind prior to peeling back the layers of nasty weather with PS.
San Francisco, CA, The image was taken from The Golden Gate Bridge Park in 2007.
Hey Jim, Great shots, and I do remember LZ West as well as Mary Ann and Siberia. Keep up the good work.
You are correct, it is a turtle.
I am throwing these images out in order to gain knowledge as to there appeal to others. All feedback is welcome along with advice. Thanks ahead of time for your comments.
It is great the you are enjoying your club and what it is doing for you. As for your camera stick with what you like and in the future if you decide it is time to change do check them out as mentioned before. It has been my belief over the years, the camera doesn't make the picture, the operator does. As long as the lens is sharp and you have reasonable mega pixels, things should be fine.
Have fun. And as my friend keep saying "keep smiling".
Thanks for the positive comments. The last image was taken at Golden Gate State Park in CA.
Here is an assortment of shots
Check out the place the wedding is to be held in advance, take light readings of every possible area to be photographed. Run test shots changing shutter speeds, appeture openings as well as ISO speeds. When you look at the pictures on you computer take note of what worked and what did not. Then you are half way home. Keep good notes and refer to them during the shot.
