From a trip to Cuba

I took this photograph at the studio of a noted potter in Trinidad, Cuba. I have reworked it a number of times trying to capture the connection between the man's hands and the material he is working with. He seemed so comfortable and relaxed, doing what he enjoys.

Boy and Farmer close up. I think the farmer could benefit from cutting back on the highlights slightly. The expression the boy is compelling to me.

Would not consider the the men in the background they are obviously not after the woman. She is obviously on her way to somewhere.

I did miss the focus by a bit and the uneven street was a challenge. Glad you liked it.

Hi Dave, The bride is heading to the harbor for a short cruise for all brides of the past year. This is a Porto tradition. No idea who the 3 fellows are but thought they added some mystery to the shot. Thanks for looking.
