My clubs annual print show competition is coming up. We get to enter up to four prints, we have different categories. I usually always enter
at least one in Portraits. These are the ones I am trying to choose from. Would love your opinions and constructive feedback. Thank you

3,5,8 and 10 for me. #3 is a cute little guy. The colors are pleasing and the depth of field is just right. I like the cropped #5 instead of #6 because it get's right to the subject... a rugged slightly weathered face. #8 is a lovely young woman in her apparent native garb. And last but not least is the little cute pie in #10. All are very nice but these four are my favorites. Good luck. I'm sure you'll do well.
The third one “boy” is a definite - perfect lighting and skin tones! I also like fright and the farmer body one. Renaissance would have been a pic if it were sharper (may be my display). Very nice all!
First photo, "Family", is an excellent informal family portrait. Well chosen clothing color and a great setting. Timing is perfect and expresses family togetherness.

What a fantastic assortment! "Boy" is awfully cute, but for the real wow factor, stopped me in my scrolling, is "umbrella." Quite compelling processing on that (though I could see value in desaturating the background). Good luck!
I agree with everyone else's comments about the little boy - it's a very appealing portrait. I also like the close up of the farmer with his rugged features, but I think my favorite is the Renaissance girl - the simplicity and colors of the image highlight her lovely face.
1 & 3 for all the good reasons everybody before me mentioned. Nice work!

Wow!!..fantastic set...love the boy, the close crop farmer, the Renaissance girl (but I see some streaks on her right, viewer left in the background that I don't know what it is, maybe just my monitor), the fright one, clearly shows fright,...oh heck...just enter them all under different names, they're all winners!
I really like #1 but , I myself would enter with #2

My personal favorites are #1, 3, 6 and 7. Of those, I keep going back to #6, the farmer with the body. Love the light, composition and detail in that one, and on some level I relate to that one more. All photos are nicely done though, and you've made it difficult to pick.

I agree, the composition is great, and each picture is making a statement.
