Monday I sent a post in regarding the Sunpack flash that I mentioned, the correct flash model is Sunpack Digiflash 3000, not A3000.
Anyway anybody who has bought this flash with their D.S.L.R. give me a post about it, i'd like to know if you had any problems with this flash (digiflash 3000), if so post back.

6 months ago when I bought my Canon SX 50 camera I also bought a separate sunpack flash for it.
what I need to know from anybody on this site have you bought one & had you any problems with it?
if so leave a post about your experiences with this flash, & what type of D.S.L.R. that you use the A3000 with, i'm very curious about this flash, mine right now is at the repair department at Samy's cameras at the Culver City, Calif store that I bought it from, because it misfired on me a lot of times when I did 2 church functions, & 2 friends birthday parties in June & July.
So again please post me your experiences regarding this flash, the Sunpack A3000.

I saw the post on shooting at a funeral for a friends mother, anyway, I've been doing it since 1994, starting with my mothers service in December 94, & it was a reunion for me & my relatives I haven't seen in years, so it it was also a reunion also mixed in.
I've shot for my friends & relatives also, 2 years ago I shot for my friends mother who passed in june 2012 here in L.A. & her service was on a boat in san pedro ports a call, south on L.A., & they spreaded her ashes out at sea, but I took my Nikon Coolpix 16 & went to work, & even got a shot of the U.S.S. IOWA, that's berth in the port of L.A. for good, but what I got was the family & relatives & friends in a Kodak moment.

Who said that the SX 50 is a piece of junk, to me it aint, its a good camera, i have used features that are good, the digic 5 processs works good, the higher asa features over 1600 work, the long zoom is fairly good, the swivel led is good, mainly if your doing a selfy, i know the sensors are small, & it doesnt give really sharp photos like the D.S.L.R.'S, the reason i got it because it had a flash shoe for a powerful flash like the sunpack A3000 i bought, & i had a $700.00 budget to work with, + i had to buy a case, & a digital flash card (16 gig) with whatever was left over with.
So hell... i'm happy on what i got, when my bread is better i'm getting a D.S.L.R., which will be a nikon.

The sx 50 is a good camera, the question is the pros & cons on the camera, the feature that I love is the color swap, & color accent features, this is one reason I got the camera, + I could put a flash on the camera for more flash power, I don't use the camera a lot, when i'm at my church I mainly use my powershot sx 150 point & shoot when we don't have a major function at church, this is in between until I get a better D.S.L.R. & that will be a Nikon, cause they have the color selective, & that's the feature I like, canon does not have them on its D.S.L.R models, color selective (Nikon),& color accent (canon powershots only), & I like to use this feature a lot on my 2 powershot cameras, cause you can focus on one color, & everything is all black & white, I like to be creative with my photos.

YESTERDAY I SENT A MESSAGE TO Y'ALL REGARDING THE CANON POWERSHOT SX 50, & I HEARD ABOUT THE PRO'S & CON'S ON THIS CAMERA, & I'M MIXED ON THE SUBJECT.
ANYWAY... I BOUGHT MY SX 50 6 MONTHS AGO AT SAMY'S CAMERA AT THE CULVER CITY, CALIF STORE, AS WELL A SUNPACK A3000 FLASH FOR IT ALSO & I HAVE A LOVE & HATE FOR THE SX 50.
LOVE IS... THE 24-1200 ZOOM, THE HS SYSTEM, THE DIGIC 5, THE CREATIVE FILTERS, INCLUDING THE COLOR SWAP & COLOR ACCENT, THE SWIVEL L.E.D. MONITOR, THE HIGH ASA TO 6400, & OTHER FEATURES I CANT MENTION.
HATE IS...NOT HAVING THE FUNCTION WHERE YOU CAN PREVIEW YOUR PHOTOS ON THE SX 50 BY HAVING THE FUNCTION JUMP 100 OR 10 SHOTS, (BACKWARDS OR FOWARDS) A PAIN IN THE A** IMAGE SIZE SELECTOR, ALSO DIFFUCULTY SELECTING THE F-STOP & SHUTTER SPEED IN TV, M, SHUTTER SPEED, & A MODE (NOT AUTO), ALSO HAVING 12 MEGAPIXELS, I BOUGHT A 16 GIG LEXAR CARD AT TARGET RIGHT AFTER I GOT THE CAMERA & I EXPECTED AT LEAST 8 TO 9000 IMAGES IN A 5 OR 6 MEGAPIXEL MODE, NO CORD THAT YOU CAN CONNECT BETWEEN CAMERA & COMPUTER & OTHER MATTERS THAT I CANT MENTION.
MY OTHER CANON POINT & SHOOT, THE POWERSHOT SX 150 HAS 14 MEGAPIXELS, HAS THE FEATURE WHERE YOU CAN PREVIEW PHOTOS BY SELECTING 10 OR 100 JUMP (FORWARD OR BACKWARDS), WHY IT AINT ON THE SX 50 I DONT UNDERSTAND, IT CAME WITH A CORD TO CONNECT BETWEEN CAMERA & COMPUTER.
ANYWAY... CANON IS SKIMPING, I WONDER HOW THE PROPOSED SX 60 WILL FARE.
AS FOR THE WOMAN IN MAINE WHO'S SX 50 DIED ON HER & GOT A RAW DEAL WITH CANON, ON REPLACING IT, I'M SORRY IT HAPPEND, I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH MINE YET, NOR WITH MY SX 150, CANON HAS NO SOUL, THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THE PRO'S THAN THEY ARE WITH BRIDGE & POINT & SHOOTS.
MY ONY PROBLEM WITH MY SX 50 IS NONE, IT WORKS GOOD, THE SUNPACK A3000 FLASH I BOUGHT WITH IT, ACTING UP, WOULD MISFIRE, I SHOT 2 MAJOR FUNCTIONS AT MY CHURCH, & ON EACH OCCASION, I HAD TO DELETE AROUND A 100 PHOTO'S EACH TIME CAUSE THEY WERE TOO DARK, I GOT THE SUNPACK A3000 CAUSE IT WAS IN MY BUDGET RANGE, & IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY SAMY'S SALES PEOPLE AT 2 DIFFERENT STORES I VISITED, & THE FLASH WORKED PRETTY GOOD, BECAUSE OF THE DISTANCE (FAR AWAY), NOW ITS AT SUNPACK IN NEW JERSEY (VIA SAMY'S CAMERA), BEING LOOKED AT ON WHY ITS MISFIRING.
ALSO ANYBODY WHO HAS THIS PARTICULAR FLASH (SUNPACK A3000) WITH THE SX 50, OR ANY OTHER CANON D.S.L.R., AS WELL WITH NIKON, GIVE ME A POST IF YOU HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE SUNPACK A3000.

FOR THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS I'VE HEARD BAD & GOOD ABOUT THE SX 50, IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS I'LL GIVE MY 2 CENTS ON THE SX50, CAUSE I BOUGHT ON FROM SAMY'S CAMERA HERE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 6 MONTHS AGO.
