I would say by all means take the lens! You will have lots of opportunityto use it. Wish I could go again. By the way, if you are 55 or older you can get a senior pass which allows you to get into all national parks free.

Have a wonderful time.

Make sure you cover the southern area. Look for monk seals on the beach. They are dying out so you aren't suppose to bother them but you can get close enough to get some great photos. If you are in Poipu be sure to get a puka dog! They are featured on a PBS special about hot dogs. Don't miss the " grand canyon of the west."

Have a great trip and be sure to post pics when you return.

Beautiful picture. I noticed that while you were taking the picture someone else took the pot of gold. Sorry.

Bluebirds like a tree line or fence post near some trees. They will not use the houses if they are too close together. Usually only one in a yard unless it is very large.

I know you're excited. My son got home from his last tour for a year at the end of March. Words can't express how that first hug feels like when they are back on American soil.

I suggest you drive down to the Air Force Academy. The campus is beautiful and while you're there you can visit Pike's Peak.

Always keep your original photo. If you change it in Picasa, save it as another name. Your original will remain the same. Also, if you export your photo or upload it to a Picasa album, you have the option to keep it the original size or change the size. Picasa never does anything to your original photo unless you process it in Picasa and then save it as its original name.

So sorry for the loss of your son. Allow yourself to grieve and cling to the good memories.

So sorry for your loss. May God bless and keep you tightly in his hands during the coming months. Loved the photograph. Its great to take beautiful shots of flowers, etc, but one like the one of your wife is worth millions of the others. Thanks for sharing with us.

save your altered image as another name and they will both be available to you. I.e. psc220, edit and save as psc220a.

Close Picasa and open PSE and go to file, open and look where you have your photos stores. You can select whichever photo you want to work on in PSE/photoshop, picnik, whatever and picase will not interfer in anyway.
