Is it possible to rent a video camera on Kauai, and if so, can you recommend a store? Thank you!

Do a google search on VIDEO RENTAL ON KAUAI and you will have several options.
I was there last April for 10 days and had a great time.
What city will you be in? We stayed in Kappa (my youngest son lives there)

Make sure you cover the southern area. Look for monk seals on the beach. They are dying out so you aren't suppose to bother them but you can get close enough to get some great photos. If you are in Poipu be sure to get a puka dog! They are featured on a PBS special about hot dogs. Don't miss the " grand canyon of the west."

I did search "video rental on Kauai" and it told me where to rent videos and DVD's. I want to rent a video camera . . . we have borrowed our son's camera, but it is big and bulky and requires recording to 8mm tape and then transferring it to VHS. Was hoping to rent a camera that has newer technology and not have to lug son's camera to Kauai and back. I only need it for one day of the 7-day trip.

We went with friends in 1987 and backpacked for a week there -- Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast, Alakai Swamp -- it was gorgeous. I am so looking forward to seeing it again :-)
