With a three story home, our landline makes it so easy to answer a phone, no matter where I happen to be. And no, I don't want to carry my cell phone all over the house. Charter landlines are a must here.

N95 are made in the US. KN95 are made in China. I have a good supply of KN95, and wear them all the time.

Let me add this. The virus is killed when exposed to UV-C light. A four hospital network here in St. Louis has in fact, created a room in which the KN95 masks are hung up over night, and the exposed to a strong UV-C light.

And let me add that you and I can purchase UV-C battery lights for less than $50. We then can sterilize our masks at the end of the day.

Don't give up the ship, as it were. I purchased a TZ80, British kind. I collected an amazing set of images as we traveled through the Baltic.

I just ran your image through the HDR feature built into Affinity Photo, and I think you would like it. Now, if only I knew how to upload an image here, I'd upload it. But I've never done that before.

John, I think you hit the nail on the head. HDR would do very well here.

But keep in mind Dan, people can possibly be infected by Covid19 and not be aware of it, or show any symptoms. That is the very reason why everyone should be wearing a mask. This won't go on 'forever'. There will be an end, of sorts. But that won't happen for about anther two years. But we will get there.

You are correct in that N95 and KN95 have nearly identical properties. In my science "sphere of influence", I'm acclimated to knowledge of KN95. I see that Amazon offers both. I would respect the N95 the same as KN95.

We are currently in a politically charged landscape where everyone can do everything, with few or no consequences. Hopefully that will change soon.

LWW, you are doing an excellent job in your explanation. Since I actually teach since (physics) and have Biology teachers around me, they agree with me in that (a) a mask is to protect others, not you. And (b) you can protect others AND yourself if you wear KN95 masks which are even available at most Ace hardware stores.

One more note, do not, under any circumstances, buy and wear one of that damn mask that has a valve. It permits full exhale, hence protect no human being. I wish sellers would stop selling those dangerous masks.

Wonderful captures Tom. I'm a flower-person myself, and you've shown the significance of using a tripod, especially when going in close.

I live on my Kindle, and mostly for reading. If I'm reading a book in bed, and hear a spectacular piece of music from my favorite station in London, I do switch over to "Silk..." for the Internet. Works perfectly. Once I see the name of the selection I seek, I just switch back to my book. I'm with you Leo, I use my computer for all my e-mail.

In a similar note, Google collapsed Tuesday on my iMac. All bookmarks lost. Solution? I'm not using Safari. So there!

Rochephoto, where in the country (or world) are you, to have experienced 15-20 DSLR cameras stolen that way?

You know guys, there is something I missed with the advent of mass cell phone photography. Prior to that time, when we'd go on our summer vacation cruise, I always kept an eye out for a couple who were holding a DSLR, and that slightly helpless look that they'd like to have their photograph taken ... with their camera. I would always offer to help, and everyone always accepted my offer to help. Maybe it was influenced by their seeing me holding onto my Canon 5DII, but the offer was always a 'friend maker'. A couple of times, I'd see that 'hopeless look', when someone actually wanted their picture taken and they had no camera with them. So, several times, I offered to take the picture for them, and then asked them to write down their e-mail address. When back home, I'd e-mail the .jpg off to them. Of course, now with Covid-19, things have changed. But when this is all over, hopefully by the end of 2021, our away-from-home photography returns in full.

I bought it, for $150, from our school store at Webster University. One week later, I saw it offered by Amazon for $100.

Wish me luck, I'm going to move over to the back-up iMac I bought, to back up this one. It's Sunday, perhaps the Sunday crew are not as sales-driven.
