Real Nice.....The Towers Reminds me of DOS..and I do remember that incident....Do you Think We Could Handle the Truth...?
This was way before DOS - machine language basically. Here's some interesting info on what was the largest (physical size) computer ever made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/FSQ-7_Combat_Direction_Central
I may not have pictures of a UFO, but in 1975 I was a maintenance man on the NORAD SAGE Computer system - the system that ran our Air Defense from the 1960's until early 1980s. I was on duty the night THIS happened. This event was featured on "Unsolved Mysteries." The picture is from a news clipping from the Great Falls, Montana Tribune. The other pictures are of the Maintenance room for the computer and some picture of the SAGE computer itself that I used to repair.
Thanks! I had to push my lens through the cage wires to get the shot without having wires in the shot.
Shortly after getting my new SX50 I went to a local wild life preserve and took pictures of many of the animals there. This one is one of my favorites.

Mirror lenses are just good to shoot the moon ... nothing else!
And I can do that with my SX50 :)
I just subscribed to Creative Cloud (includes LR5) and transferred all of my photos from iPhoto to LR. I found a really good video that shows the two step process (You first export the pictures from iPhoto, then import them into LR. This video is based on LR3, but I found it works exactly the same in LR5).

Thanks for posting! I just bought a SX50 but have not tried it in conditions of such low light.
I'd be interested in this as well. I have tons of old Cokin filters from years ago when I was shooting film.
I switched from PCs to Mac about 2 or 3 years ago. I have both a MacBook Pro and a 27" iMac. For image editing you can't beat the 27" iMac! Perfect for the task. Also, with the 27" you can add memory (apparently now you can't add emery with the 21.5 " version any longer).

I own the V2 and it's sharp as can be. The version 1 is said to be inconsistent and many complained they never found a copy they liked. In my opinion the V1 had slightly better build quality which is evident with the lack of plastic. Flare is well controlled on the V2. Also the version two is said to the highest resolving lenses of its focal range but it also has a crazy expensive price tag of $2300.00.
If you can find a version one for 1000.00 go for it I really hope you're talking about 2.8 ;-)

Yes, it's 2.8. Maybe I'll wait till VIII comes out then fond a deal on VII LOL!
Neither one has IS right?
What's the difference between the Series I and the Series II of this lens? I have opportunity to get a Series I version for under $1000. Good deal? Bad deal?
