That would depend on the type of battery (ni-cad or lithium ion), and I hate to say it but brand does matter, how often it's been fully discharged and recharged and how often it's used are all factors in life expectancy of a rechargeable battery.

Lithium ions will usually last longer but the other factors have a lot to do with it. If you have a battery and would like to know it's supposed life, it might be good to ask the company that makes them, then compare that with others reports (you'd have to give the model and brand to others first).

If you have her drive in your possession, plug in both drives and see if you can read them. If it's a future project ask her if the drive is formatted and how it is (Mac, Fat or NTFS). If it was never formatted to her Mac, you should have no problems. If it was formatted to her Mac but is NTFS, you should have no problems. An image file like JPEG, TIFF, PNG or NEF, is readable by both Mac and Windows.

At the rate I photograph, a card holds a year's worth of images for me. I copy images to the computer, then backup as soon as I can, but I use the SD as an extra backup. The one time I didn't keep them on the SD, I forgot to backup, and my computer died, so I may have lost an entire month of images.

Wow, I have 2 128GB SDXC cards in my camera and when I go to photograph a race, usually 3-4 days, I have at least one card full and the other is probably half full. To be able to hold a years worth of photos on one card seems impossible...

Isopropyl alcohol can be bought in most any hardware store and I think I've seen it in Walmart.

If it ever happens again right click your desktop and click resolution, then check your settings. Try it now so you know what the settings should be.

Sounds like the screen resolution might have been adjusted wrong. Maybe an update or something changed settings?

It's auto focus and should be fine for your camera. I have a D7200 and it works fine on mine so you should have no problems. It also has a tripod mount. Here are some photos.

This is used and a full frame lens, so on a DSLR, it will be the same as a 300-600 lens. Lens is in mint condition, no fog, no dust, no scratches.

It's big and a git heavy but takes great photographs. I'm selling it because I have too may lenses in the same range (80-200 DX, 70-300 FX and 80-400 FX)

I'd like to get $135 plus shipping. Feel free to ask questions.
