When you go out taking photos, what camera and lenses do you bring? Any accessories? Anything that's just random but has proven useful over time?

Just remember that the more you have in your bag, the less you will have in your wallet

Think about what you want. If you are just going to do some random shooting, I like to stick to a prime so that I need to get creative. Otherwise it depends on the shoot.

My Fuji X-T2. Fuji's 18-135 lens that for me covers anything. Fuji's EF-42 flash, and the little one that's included. 2 remote sensors to fiire the flash off camera. 2 extra camera batteries, and a 3 pack of filters. In my Domke bag

I don’t leave home without my Nikon D850, my Sigma ART 85mm 1.4 prime lens, my flash and two of my magmod adapters! Covers it all pretty well!! Unless I am going to a ball game, then I grab my 70-200 F2.8 lens:). It’s all in the glass!!

The one I carry with me daily contains:
Nikon D800e or D700
28~300mm
20mm
Sekonic L758DR
SB800
GP-1
Polarizer
ND
Shutter releases
trash bag
Filter wrenches
Lens cloths
10mm wrench
cables
notebook
fountain pen
pencil

There may be a few more small items, but that's it without doing an inventory.

It depends on where I'm going and what I intend to photograph.
My main camera is a Nikon Df and the lens I use most is a 50mm f/1.8. I usually also carry a 35mm and I have a number of other lenses for different situations.
If I am going out for wildlife (mostly shorebirds and waterfowl) I take my D7200 with a 300mm lens and a 1.4x TC.
I take extra batteries and memory cards, a CP, a lens cleaning kit, maybe a flash (SB-300).

D7000, tripod, remote, Nikon 80-400mm. I don't leave home without a fully charged batt.

Most of my shots are though the open window of the effective blind of my car, which my subjects don't seem to mind.

On requested shoots, whatever might be appropriate. On trips, also the 105 macro and the 18-55mm standard lens.

Since I mostly shoot birds I usually have the D500 with either the Nikkor 200 - 500 if planning to hand hold, or the Nikkor 800mm for tripod work. If it's a dark day or I'm planning on shooting very early or late I take the D4s along.

At other times when not shooting birds it could be just about anything.

28-80 zoom. 70-300 zoom. Polarizer and ND filters. Matte box with a few assorted filters. Cloth to clean lens. Pen and pad but I never remember to write down anything. Tiny tripod. Rain protection bag. That's about it...as far as I can remember...without looking.

I have a 'go bag' (waist bag) that I always take whenever I go anywhere far enough from the house that need to drive.
About 20 spare batteries, eneloop AA for flash and high voltage power pack, and a spare for each of my two cameras.
Spare SD cards. A few small tools, Allen wrenches, screw driver, etc.
Cleaning equipment: microfiber cloths, lens pen, blower, etc. An 18 X18 inch black cloth that I sometimes use to block a busy background when doing macro.
Spare cables for flash. Rear lens caps and body caps, just in case. I have room for a small to medium lens but rarely carry one.
Insect repellent in the summer. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but the bag is downstairs and I'm too lazy to go get it :)

Unless I have something specific in mind, I usually carry a Df with a 35mm 1.4 attached.
And my iPhone.

I almost always take my camera bag unless I'm just going into the back yard. I generally keep a EF 70-200 f208 on my 80D. On my T5 I usually have an EF-S 18-55 or EF 50 f1.8.

In the bag I keep a pad and a couple of pens. A small screw driver and a rubber gripping pad. The battery chargers for both cameras. A black and a red sharpie. A couple of CP filters. Several alcohol cleaning packs. A tulip hood for the EF 70-200 and rubber hood for the 18-55 and 50. Two extra SD cards. An extra 58mm front and a rear lens cap. A small package of kleenix and a small vial with some Claritin allergy pills, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen. I think there's some wide elastic bands in there and a thumb drive too.

I used to carry a speedflash but since I got the 70-200 there isn't the room in the bag. I only bring it if I think I'll need it. My tripod stays in the car with an older, light weight one I leave in the house.

Usually no camera bag at all, just the camera itself with a lens attached, and maybe a lens hood or speed light. I pretty much have a camera on me all the time, even when shopping at the grocery store. I can't imagine doing that with a heavy camera bag stuffed with multiple lenses plus all sorts of accessories; I'd get tired of lugging that thing around all day very quickly.
