well lets see a 12 gage pump shotgun using 00 buck shot will put 12, 38 cal pellets with the same hitting power as a 45 cal round. so most people can pull the trigger once and have that much ammo in the air so I can pull and pump realty fast and have say in 4 seconds 4 shells fired or 48 pellets of lead in the air. comparing that to the AR shooting one 22 cal round with each pull of the say in 4 second have maybe six or seven rounds flying in the same time frame. maybe the shot gun is much more dangerous than any of the other guns are
