This is just a quick snap I took a couple of years ago in Arkansas. These two businesses are in the same building.

Have you considered Rocky Mountain School of Photography? They have a "summer intensive" that you may be interested in.

Books are good. I also make books of what I consider my best shots. I also put them on-line in Smugmug, making a "gallery" for each trip. That way friends and family who aren't close enough to see the books can visit Smugmug.

I have a Canon Pro-1000 and it prints up to 13"x19" beautifully. I like it.

I was once told that the perfect tripod had 3 important features. It had to be light weight, sturdy, and inexpensive. The joke is that you can only have two of those features at a time. Having all three is impossible. Best of luck in sorting it out.

Thanks. I'll take that as a compliment since I don't know how to use Photoshop!

This was taken at Pedernales Falls near Fredericksburg, TX. Is it a blue heron (there have been several such photos posted but I'm not sure). Thanks.

I have a Canon Pixma PRO-100 and it is great. You can't go wrong with it.

Go to https://www.camerashuttercount.com/ and upload a photo. The software will get all it needs from it and give you the shutter count. Very simple.

Don't know about a photo tour, per se, however, no cars are allowed in Zion but they have very frequent bus service back and forth on the park road that goes by most attractions. You can get off wherever you wish, take your photos, and get back on another bus. I never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for one.

I appreciate the compliments. Yes, all of Alaska and Canada were with the 18-300. Most, but not all, of the others were also, except for the Macro of course. Can't right now, but when I have a little more time today I'll be sure and take a look at your site.
