its good to hear shes at ease at the new place.

Yes it is. She used to pace the fence line at the other barn. It wasn't that she wasn't treated well or anything because I know she was. For one, I worked there too! But she just couldn't relax. It was sad. I thought she would always be that way. To not see her pacing back and forth to the point that she dug quite the trench, does my heart good!

They have minds of their own.
hev would see the neighbors dog come into the yard and all would be well. "UNTIL" i went out to play with the dog- then all heck would break loose and she would want to kill the dog. She could be very jealous at times.

Wileana, my mare, doesn't like me paying attention to the other 3 horses at the farm. She gets quite jealous. I never thought she would be this way because she was very standoffish at the other stables I was at. She is so much more relaxed at Denise's farm.

i bet that is funny.

The owner, Denise, said he did that once before and it was so funny that she didn't have the heart to stop him. She said that he was covered in mud from head to toe!

That's so funny There's a Quarter Horse at the farm I'm at now whose name is Chance. He's a little guy at 14.3. He's the one that likes to pose the most for me.

I had sold my horse about 3 years back and yes they break the bank alright. But she was fun and entertaining. Shes now got a job and she needed that.

I'm sorry you had to sell them. I can't. I've had my Arabian since he was 2 years old. He's now 19. I would just die if anything happened to him at the hands of someone else. My trainer lost one of her horses that she sold to someone due to stupidity. She tried to get the woman to let her nurse him back to health but she wouldn't let her. The horse had to be put down. It was horrifying that this woman thought she knew what she was doing.

Thank you, piaffe_passage! I'm glad you like them. I also love irises.

I have yellow bearded Iris that I took with me when I moved. I hope they come up this year. They didn't last year and I don't know why unless it had something to do with the weather. I hope the rhizomes didn't die.

I could not let her deal alone, with lack of food and drink Plus trying to keep her kits warm and safe.
No animal deserves that. They fill such a big Void in our lives, especially since i had lost 2 of my pets just a short while before Gray arrived.
Shes safe now.
:)

That's just so wonderful. Animals do do that. I don't know what I'd do without mine. The horses break the bank but I wouldn't want to lose them for anything!

peter doesn't like getting his paws all muddy and is wondering where the sunshine is.
i like his beautiful black and white fur and the expression on his fury face says it all.
the caption is cute and so is the shot cheryl!

Thanks Merry!! Peter is actually a charcoal gray and white cat. It must be the lighting in this photo. I'll need to take another picture of him with the sun out for you. He's a very handsome cat.
