My friend had a Super-Snipe here in NYC in the mid '70s.
We had some wild times driving around in it.
The most amazing thing was the gas cap was behind the tail light.
Get some 1/2" or 3/4" rigid electrical conduit.
Cut it into lengths a bit wider than the tank.
Using the hand truck, elevate the tank and slip the conduit underneath as rollers.
Shower curtain liners work when moving gear.
Good luck
Love the last two.
Thanks for posting.
First shot, much more impact
I thank you for the clip.
I did get to see Hendrix and the Experience live at the Fillmore East.
They shared the bill with Sly and the Family Stone .
It was the late show, on a Friday night, I got my ticket on the street right before the show.
Those were the days, being a young adult in NYC and spending numerous week-end nights at the Fillmore.
Bill Graham was one egotistical person.
You are lucky, one of my sons and his wife were so paranoid to even have a drive by.
It was a terrible time for everyone.
Thanks for the memories.
I spent a couple of years working on various projects in Lower Manhattan.
I could never get the streets right.
They would send me to a supply house for material on Dutch St., and I would quite often get confused walking back.
It boggles the mind to think that the city's northern boundary was Wall St. at one point in time.
Great work!
It sure was a mess here in Queens, in fact its still raining.
On a positive note, my flowers love this weather.
Thank you.
It was a sloppy week-end.
Thanks David.
I was on the F train yesterday, and a similar woman passed by selling candy.
It was a different baby carrier.
The poor child was fast asleep with its head covered.
She passed by so fast to the next car, that I didnt have time to get her some money
Yes, It is a Handpan.
I know someone who makes beautiful music with it.
I love the subway shot.
Thanks.
