About 2 hours ago I felt a very slight "bump" under my feet. on the ground floor of the house. Was there any report of a very small earthquake in N.E Ct. Small (not felt) quakes occcur everywhere frequently. Did I feel one? Or am I nuts

A big rash of quakes over the last few hours in Puerto Rico & the West coast is a mess with recent quakes. ALSO, Oklahoma is a shakin'.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro Platinum Combo Brand New in Box $1,150.00

There is no DJI Mavic 2 Pro Platinum. The Platinum is not a Mavic 2, it is a Mavic (old version). However, that is the price on Amazon for a new Mavic Platinum Combo. How about a picture, or several, of the box you are selling?

I saw it on Mash. Radar was given the rank by one, or maybe 2, of the mash doctors. It is Captain- Corporal!

Everyplace that might be fun to fly them now have signs that say something along the lines of: "Forbidden to fly drones". The FAA wants every drone over 8 ounces to be flown by a licensed drone pilot, which includes certification of having successfully completed pilot (as in flying Cessnas!) ground school. None of the drones 8 ounces and under have very good cameras. People who see your drone will be paranoid that you are spying on them. Hunters will shoot them down. Sorry if I seem a bit negative, but I also was interested in drones and photography until I recently looked into the possibility of becoming a drone pilot.

Wow, that is not correct. Mavic Mini is 249 grams. Great camera and steady flyer. FAA controls airspace to 400 feet, not the hunters. I fly an Anafi, cheap and pretty good (4K, 30 fps & 1080, 60 fps). I am registered with FAA as enthusiast and have one number for any drone I might have that is over 250 grams. Generally, if you find a place to launch cleared by the apps B4UFly and Airmap then you are good to go.

And now we know these camera's are available in Manassas VA. Why not just list your address so thief's can visit. Other wise, what was the purpose of your post. This is just yet another SHOW AND TELL post with nothing to advance photography knowledge for anyone.

I think it is a size comparison. I appreciate that. That could affect buying decisions by many people. It is one of the nicer contributions to the UHH.

This is a living and breathing Earth. Photography freezes time, that particular time that the photograph was taken.

Requesting feedback on the quality and capabilities of the iPhone 11 pro for video. Most use cases for me would be in a jeep during a wildlife safari. I usually carry two or three dslr bodies (NIKON D5,850,500) and several lenses. Was thinking that instead of carrying yet another body (eg the Z6 which I’m told has great video capabilities), why not take an iPhone and use that as a convenient video camera - since it’s light and small. Comments/ advice welcome.

It looks like you already have it covered. Is the iPhone 11 Pro your current phone. If so, Just take your phone along with you and see how you like it. Also, it looks like you are missing a nice video drone, so maybe get the Mavic 2 Pro. That will give you a different perspective.

Anyone out there that is into Drone Photography? Looking to get into it at around $2,000 to $2,500. At the present, I am studying all the issues and various brands. Looking forward to 4K video of various incredible Geological formations in the mountains and desert around Las Vegas. Any suggestions on a HIGH END drone setup???? Thanks for any helpful information.

Until you decide, just pick up the Parrot Anafi Extended deal at BestBuy (-300) for 599. It is a steal, no one can touch it. That drone 4k rivals DJI very nicely, WOW!!

SSDs are cheap, I recommend it, get the biggest you are able for your intended use. What, yes, all the difference in the world.
