I used the 'report issue' and forwarded your post to ADMIN. I've seen somewhat the same issue a few times over the past few years. ADMIN is a user and a PM to their attention is the best way to alert them of an IT type problem on the website. In addtion to the details you provided, include the date and time too.

Last night while in the 'ugly hedgehog' I received an ALERT
from AVAST (my security program) stating that it had prevented a virus from entering.

infection: URL:Mal

I ran a scan with my Anti-Malware program hoping that would take care of the situation.

However, today I received the same ALERT

Have been thinking of getting a CIS for my Epson 2880. I read a post somewhere here of someone using "Cone" inks for their CIS.
I'm asking for any information, suggestions, etc. on this matter. Such as... Do the colors come out true? Whats the "Hassle Index" of using a CIS? etc.
Thank you.

Menkaure

Contact: www.cobraink.com
Richard at Cobra Ink will give you full information and has all necessary parts if you can install it yourself. Only Epson.
I bought printer with CIS already installed by them and it
works beautifully.

Hello. Question that has no doubt been asked before.
How do I download photos directly from my camera to an external hard drive?
I don't want to go 'via' the computer because the storage is too limited to cope with all the megapixels!
Camera: Nikon D800
Computer: MacBook Pro
External Hard Drives: various.
Thanks for your help Ugly Hedgehogs!

And just for a bit of enjoyment: Black-shouldered Kite 'shot' with Tamron 150-600.

I can't answer your question; but that's a great shot.

My wife and I are taking a cruise to Alaska next week and are trying to figure out what camera to take. We are both amatours but have a lot of reading material. I have a Canon T2i with EFS 18-135 kit lens and EF 50mm, 1.8 lens and a Canon SX500IS. My wife carrys her Panasonic DMC-TS3, which she loves. Since I'm not know for making smart purchase decisions, I was also looking at buying a Canon SX50?????
My camera knowledge would probably limit shooting in Auto or Program and play with the ASA setting. Keeping in mind weight concerns and camera ease of use, what would you hogs recomment.
Thanks

My wife and I are taking a cruise to Alaska next w... (show quote)

During my Alaska cruise a few years ago I carried my
Fugifilm S5000 constantly, and shot everything in AUTO and the zoom
covered every situation. Every day I downloaded the XD card to my laptop computer.
The results were great.
I did not take a DSLR and lenses because I wanted to avoid
lugging a bag around.

I've got a Pentax K500 and a Sigma EF610 DG Super flash and have been looking at a way of using Hi-speed off-camera flash... which doesn't appear to be possible using the "wireless" mode.. I bought an extension cable which does facilitate it.. but the cable is way too short and limits the distance between the camera and the flash and there doesn't appear to be a longer one available.. My question is.. would it be feasible to connect 2 or maybe 3 of these short cables together and the system would still function or is the fact that a longer cable not being available mean that the length of the cable is critical..

I recently purchased a flash cable for my Pentax K10D from B & H for about $15.00. The cable is coiled, relaxed is about 22" and 50", or more, when extended.

I'm posting this information about H.L. Mencken to make a point; my point being, that I'll bet $3 to 6 do-nuts that there aren't very many people on the UHH Chit-Chat Forum that
A. Have even heard of H.L. Mencken before

B. Have the slightest idea who H.L. Mencken was, what he did, or "where he did it"

C. Or will even give a rat's patootie about H.L. Mencken, now that I have posted this useless and I'm guessing, completely uninteresting information about the life & times of H.L. Mencken.

Several days ago, after I had posted a thread about something of current interest to the majority of the "intelligent", "thoughtful" and "normal" people on the forum, one of our usual suspects, (GeorgeH ), made a post, (as liberal trolls always do ), pointing out that H.L. Mencken had said "this" and "that", (all of which was the usual liberal nonsense ), and I answered GeorgeH by saying essentially the same thing that I'm still saying, that I doubt if many have even heard of H.L. Mencken, and even those who have heard of him, probably don't "give a damn" what H.L. Mencken "said".

It seems that the libs have decided that anyone who uses the word "patriot", or anyone who thinks that "patriotism" is a "good thing", has suddenly "aroused the indignation and ire" of the "far left nut-jobs", (who are so fond of calling all normal, thinking people "right-wing nut-jobs"! )

When I pointed all of this out to GeorgeH, he did exactly what all libs always do, he characterized what I pointed out to him as being a "rant"! To be perfectly truthful, I feel ever so slightly "bad" about using GeorgeH as my example in all of this, because as libs "go", there are DOZENS of them blathering about on the Chit Chat Forum who make poor old GeorgeH look like a "boy scout"! (boy scouts being an example of "good" )

I'm now guessing that since I've posted this short bio about H.L. Mencken, there will no doubt be a sudden resurgence of interest and adulation of H.L. Mencken among the "far left wing nut-jobs". As always, my best; Gitzo

“The two main ideas that run through all of my writing, whether it be literary criticism or political polemic, are these: I am strong in favor of liberty and I hate fraud.”
—H.L. Mencken

H.L. Mencken was born on September 12, 1880, in Baltimore, Maryland. He became a writer and editor at The Baltimore Sun, penning a celebrated column. Concurrent with his work for The Sun, Mencken edited The Smart Set magazine and started The American Mercury. During the 1940s, he published three memoirs. After a stroke forced his retirement in 1948, he could no longer read or write and died a lonely man several years later.

I'm posting this information about H.L. Mencken to... (show quote)

In the early 1930s I lived on Stricker St. ( N & S) just above Baltimore St.
(E & W); Mr. Mencken lived on Hollins St. (E & W) just south of Baltimore St. His home faced Union Square where we played and skated frequently.
Often saw him sitting on front steps, he usually smoked a cigar.
I was born in Baltimore, and I consider Mr. Mencken and Mr. A. Aubrey Bodine the greatest.

Hi, I am asking Santa for a Wacom Intuos Pro for Christmas. Could anyone that uses a Wacom tablet advise me on which size to get, a medium or large.
Thanks
Anne

Any size tablet covers your complete monitor area, a big one causes you to move arm further and can be more tiring. I use a small Wacom CTE-440, several years old.
