Tough to do while handholding Nikkor 300 f2.8. Just need an extra hand. Thanks for the thought.
Same computer....no internet access near south pole. Solved by new Asis PC laptop.
Never held hostage by Apple.
Nikon has a two part hood for their Polarizers. There is a scale on hood that indicates whether to use one or both parts of hood according to focal length. Never sorry to use hood only sorry when I dont use them.
I have a client/student who has traveled the world. He had to have the best Mac Book Pro as that is what "the pros use". Photoshop has two keys that are different on Pcs and Macs...no difference.. though some graphic acceleration are only supported by Pcs. My client used iphoto while traveling to Antarctica, Africa, Iceland and many more. When he wanted to edit photos I set him up with Lightroom, best photo edit program.
Since Apple doesnt make Lightroom it is not an "approved" program. Lightroom cannot find the photos as Apple hides them from non "approved" ie not made by Apple software. Had to buy an external hard drive and export all the photos, over 38000, to the hd and then import them using Lightroom. Bringing them back to the hd was time intensive as each Nikon D800 file was raw 36 Megapixel. Nothing a Pc or Mac cannot do. Just dont care for Apple holding images hostage just because you DARE to use non Apple software. Buyer beware...Apple computers barely in use world wide as iphone accounts for 85% of their business and ipads most of the rest
Lower the iso and pola has served in all types of pro sports photography for 30+ years but I guess you have other challenges.
Why not use a polarizer, circular polarizer even better, you get up to 2 stops ND and also cut glare on all but metallic surfaces. Buy to fit largest filter size in your lenses and use adapter rings to fit smaller diameter filter sizes. Buy best pola filter you can afford as you only need one.
Im an IT personal trainer. My experience with Lightroom and Mac Book Pro is...I have a client who has traved the world..Africa, Antarctica, Grand Canyon, Iceland etc. He used iphoto to view his photos on his travels. When he installed Lightroom, Apple IOS would not let him see the photos, as Apple does not make Lightroom so they block it. REMEMBER APPLE KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU. To solve the issue we had to buy an external hard drive...export all the photos to the hard drive....delete all the photos on the Mac...import all the photos into Lightroom. The thing to learn here is dont use iphoto EVER and import from mem card directly into Lightroom.
