Responsible gun owners don't allow their guns to become "black market guns". I'm pretty sure most illegal guns, or "guns in the hands outlaws", once belonged to legal owners.

So how does the law work effectively? You aren’t answering the question.

Let’s just say I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a weapon in my hands.

No but if you missed with the first shot you can put a whole lot of holes in the air where the animal used to be.

Maybe you can. Personally, I ration those rounds. They are really pricey.

Besides, being a responsible owner, even if my weapon were capable of full-auto, I wouldn’t use it. I’ve fired an M-60 and didn’t like it. Couldn’t spot my target with all that movement. An M-16 on auto wasn’t much better, even with 3-round bursts.

The weapon you describe exists only in the movies and your imagination.

Have to agree with you, but when you try to 'splain to a no brain, you use the word finger it's easier

You do have a point.

I'm pretty sure being criminals doesn't rely on the victims being innocent.

Effective laws will restrict the availability of guns to outlaws. Laws that don't rely on outlaws following laws. There are many possibilities

Is that how the guns get onto the black market? Upstanding citizens buy them legally and then just sell them to anyone in a back alley? Wouldn’t that make the buyer a criminal?

The mass shooters were not criminals until they pulled the trigger and shot innnocent victims.

How does that explain how a law will keep the gun out of the criminal’s hands? And how do you know they’re all upstanding citizens until they lay hands on a scary-looking piece of metal and plastic?

Any semi auto is not necessary for hunting unless you are a real bad shot, and if that's the case you shouldn't be out hunting in the first place.

The AR-15 is self aiming? Huh, I do believe I got gyped.

Just to show you liberals hypocrite that both are the same, only one is an "Assault Rifle " But you knew that and you want to put your grain of "knowledge" in it .

Like I said, the finger is the devil, not the rifle.

Don’t be so hard on the innocent little finger. Technically, it’s the brains behind the finger and the person in which both reside that is the devil incarnate.

I do not have any problems with gun owners, some of my best friends..... My issue is with owning an AR15. I don’t understand why anyone needs one!

Exactly my point. IF you listened, then you would understand. Is there a good reason you trust your friends with a pistol (loaded with hollow points) and not with an AR-15?

BTW, have you ever seen “Full Metal Jacket”? An AR-15 is a weapon, not a gun.

....the rationale behind passing more and stricter gun laws?

How will additional laws keep weapons out of the hands of criminals who, by definition, disregard the law?

Are responsible gun owners to be feared? Does picking up a handful of metal transform one into a criminal? If so, how does that happen?

You people are so pathetic. There is no reason for a AR15 other than to kill human beings. This is very sad!, the worst part is that you can justify owning this monster to yourself.

Perhaps if you listened (honestly) to those who’ve responded you might learn something positive about gun owners.

Your lack of understanding does not mean that you are right.

Furthermore.....monsters are fictional creatures. Much like your argument that inanimate objects are evil and dangerous.

Since he has been kicked out of schools I guess we'll never know.

Note to (fellow) Christians; Jesus' disciples carried weapons (swords) if guns were available, no doubt they would have carried them.

Amen and Amen.
