It would be best to ask Don, it's his opinion, not mine. I never said I agreed with it.

Oh but you did agree with it. You said "for telling the truth".

The real events are coming out by a few, Thank you for your information. In the 1960s I had a Japanese friend who was convinced that all Japanese in the U.S. were sent to internment camps. He was astounded and hardly believed me when I told him that was not so. There were three groups. All the Japanese on the west coast west of the Cascade Mountains had to relocate or go to a camp. Japanese that lived east of the Cascades to about 100 miles could remain there but not travel and those that lived about 150 miles or more east of the Cascades could live there and travel but not to the west coast. I lived and went to grade school and high school in Spokane, WA and went to school with several Japanese kids. We had a lot of Japanese truck gardens in Spokane and a couple of Japanese restaurants and churches. One of the Japanese kids was a good friend of mine and I visited his home and family often. We used to go fishing together a lot and he kept the fish.

Regardless of who was driving the vehicle owner's insurance should cover the damages to the struck vehicle and any road signs or personal property. Leave it up to the owner to determine the driver and extract payment. Owners should be held responsible for whomever operates their vehicle.

When my daughter borrowed my car my insurance co. told me "If you lend your car you lend your insurance." So I agree with your comment.

I have Garmin GPS with camera in each of our cars. Voice recorder turn off. Camera can show who is at fault including you. Lawyer advised me to turn off voice unless I warn each passenger they are being recorded. Also camhttps://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-771169-2.htmlera can be evidence in a wreck even if it is not your wreck. If not your accident you should advise the victim that you have recorded the wreck. They have good and bad points..

Are our Armed Forces so poorly led that highly sensitive documents are available to a still pimple faced 21 year old once a month member of the National Guard who was probably trying to impress his on-line game buddies, not give aid to the enemy?

Steve we have 21 year old pimple faced sailors serving on nuclear submarines that are full of secret items, we have 21 year old airmen loading and handling nuclear weapons on aircraft and they have top secret restricted data clearances. This individual does not seem to be a once a month guardsman. His mother said he worked a night shift at the base. He may have been a full time national guard employee. He has not been charged under the UCMJ so he may not have been on active duty but time will tell if that eventually happens. He had a TS clearance because his job required it and he had been trained for it.

Not to mention his court case was a big waste of tax payer money.

Several years ago I read an article about a repeat offender that asked why he kept committing crimes. He replied that he had several "baby mamas" that he didn't want to pay child support to so by staying in prison he wasn't obligated to pay.

Everyday there is more evidence that this country is going to heck in a hand basket.

Had a neighbor once who's son got out of prison for forgery. I asked him if he had learned his lesson and his response was "your out of your mind. I had a cot to sleep on, when my clothes got dirty I sent them to the laundry and they came back clean, If my shoes got a hole in them I got a new pair, I had a fat little boy in my cell with me and the warden got 30 men up in the morning to cook my breakfast. You don't live that good." How do you deal with thinking like that? They are not going to change.

A little over 60 years ago I was a youngster in the shopping mall. I foolishly shoplifted a package of chewing gum. I was caught, detained by the store, and my parents were called. They came down and got me and, while the store declined to press charges, it might've been easier as compared to the tongue lashing and "grounding" that I got when I got home. I never stole anything ever again.

Yes, it is a different world today…

And when I was about 6 yrs old I shoplifted a bottle of perfume for my mother on her birthday. When I gave it to her she insisted on knowing how I got the money to buy it. Well WE took the bottle of perfume back to the store with much apologies and promises to never steal again. I have lived up to that promise for 82 years.

Attorney-Client Privilege does not apply when conspiring to commit a crime.
Trump will be very sorry that he opened this bag of worms.

Doesn't make any difference for Trump. In Manhattan if charged as an accessory to Booth in the assassination of Lincoln he would be convicted of loading the gun. His case there will be won on appeal. The suit against Cohen may go nowhere and may be successful but it will be a long time before it is settled and will cost a lot of money. Neither of them may be alive before it is settled.

Foreign military services always have observers during a war. These special forces may or may not be taking an active role but they do observe and report back to the national leaders. Maybe nothing wrong here.

When I was a child in the early 40's corporal punishment in schools was allowed but not used very often. My father taught me you marry the mother of your children and you do not have to like it but you do it. In our state non-support was punishable by 20 years in the penitentiary. No body did that much time, only a year or two but they were on parole for the next 18 years. Stop supporting and back you go and save the county the cost of a new trial.
After I got back from Korea there were the Beatniks then the Hippies and it went down hill from there. The free speech movement in Berkeley CA brought on speech that had been unthinkable before that time. And so it went.

Its much better where I live now but I once lived in an area where it was almost impossible to find or see house numbers. They were all different sizes and locations on the houses and a couple did not have any at all. Mail was always messed up and a couple of people had to pick up their mail at the PO because of their complaints and failure to fix their address numbers. It is not always the delivery process that is at fault.

Booismycat: Please explain the numbers you are talking about. What the numbers really show is that after you throw out gun suicides the U.S. is not even in the top 30 for gun violence. I am NOT excusing any murder, child or otherwise. But I do state that antigun advocates do inflate statistics for their own purpose. Over 50% of the gun deaths in the U.S. are suicide.

The greatest problem is that not everyone is willing to acknowledge it is a PEOPLE PROBLEM — Not a particular type-of-weapon that is at fault.

Yes it is a people problem and an emotional one. Emotions rule over reason and it is a problem of good over evil of black and white with no shade of gray. It is a problem of evil political parties, evil schools and teachers, evil police forces and courts, productive people against lazy people who will not work, gay and hetero sex, and there is no compromise because it is a fight against sin. Every one defines sin in their own terms and the other side is always wrong and evil and must be dealt with. If we do not come to terms with each other there is little hope for the future.

Are you talking about paying taxes or taking a discount? There is a difference. Your first question was did Trump pay taxes on the money.

Trump did not have to pay taxes on the money but Daniels as the receiver did.
