Keep them coming. Love the captions.
The A99 is still a very capable camera. It can do the majority of things modern cameras can. It is something like driving a 2005 well maintained and low mileage vehicle.
The Sony A99 originally cost $2,800 but it is over ten years old now. It is still a great camera and will suit 99% of users needs but technology has moved on. It is an A-mount camera that has been discontinued by Sony in favor of the mirrorless E-mount. I paid at or about $1,000 for a low shutter count model about five years ago. Sony also replaced the A99 with the A99II in 2016. It was more expensive and the going price now seems around $1,800.
I know it stings but I do not think you will get any more than $1,000 for the camera. One can buy a new E-mount a7 R II full frame camera for about $1,000.
Good luck and let me know how you do.
Going price on eBay seems to be $1,000 plus or minus 100 dollars for this camera in excellent condition. Of course there are other sellers attempting to get much more.
That view will put your mind at ease. Absolutely gorgeous.
Lucky you. Beautiful scene.
Definitely a Red-shouldered Hawk. One of my favorites. They are much more cooperative than Red-tailed Hawks. Great job.
Getting subject too low in picture.
Conversely, chopping off birds' feet.

In Richard Crossley's book, ID Guide Eastern Birds, he states that sometimes Couch's appears brighter with more contrast than the Tropical Kingbird. Your bird seems to fulfill these criteria.
The main thing is that the Eaglets had fledged. I have seen quite a few eagle nests destroyed and they almost always rebuild close by. Many Bald Eagles have a spare nest in case of disaster.
Great capture. My guess is that it is a mature female.
I have owned my 8550 now for about one year. I generally print two or three 8.5 x 11 images every week and best of all, I still have over half my original ink left. So nice not constantly changing cartridges.
Several years ago my neighbor Frank who is a generation older than I am got me listening to 40s Junction on Sirius radio. Today I am a big fan of Vaughn Monroe, Harry James, Charles Trenet, Bea Wain/Larry Clinton and many more.
