I had been told a year before I started having my eyes done that I had a small cataract nothing to worry about. A year later I went in for my annual check up and the tech asked me if I was having any problems. I told her the car lights at night really bothered me, she said sounds like cataracts. She looked in my eyes and said yep you have cataracts both eyes. The right eye was worse it was 20/200 and left eye was not quite as bad so I decided right eye first. Next day I went in for check up and the right eye was 20/60 and the doctor said I expect it to even get better
I had the left eye done I think about a month later. Today I have 20/20 in both eyes but I do have to use the chepie glasses from Walmart to read newspaper and work on computer.
Never mind she sold it out from under me. Thank you for the responces anyway. I have a T1 and a t5 but was wanting one I could carry around in my shirt pocket.
I have a chance to pick up a Panasonic Lumix 16X, is this a good walk around camera? I like it because it would easily fit in shirt pocket.
WD-40 was mentioned above. I have found it is great for taking road tar off your vehicle as well as spray paint and will not hurt you vehicle paint job. I have also used it on a swelled door due to humidity, will make it open easier. There are in fact many uses for WD-40.
I added on to my recently purchased home, spent roughly 13,000.00 on material. About 6 months later my brother in law said you should have shown them your va id card for 10% off, now he tells me. I do show it now at Lowes.
I have only been on Netflix for about 2 months..my bill if I recall is $8.60 a month
One of my favorite sayings is....." if it aint broke don't fix it".
Indian reservations any way you go from Farmington New Mexico
I hate having to go to our SS office, about all the employees are native americans, you have problems understanding some of them and I do believe some of them don't even know who they are much less what they are doing.
LOL I must be ancient I remember all 25 and not because someone mentioned them, those were the good ole days. No one back then had worries or sicknesses you see today. I purchased the first tv we had in our house from my summer time job, black and white but there was a plastic you could put over the screen making it appear to be in color.
I had cataracts removed both eyes about 3 yrs ago. One eye was so bad it was 20/200.....now I have 20/20 and 20/30 and this is after wearing bifocals for about 40 years, now I only use a cheap pair of readers from Walmart to read newspaper.........no problems using viewfinder on camera. Good luck with your eyes.
You do have some nice shots Jerry. I enjoy your posts and pictures.
we call that nifty little machine "A bobcat".
Actually not too bad here in Northwest New Mexico, we haven't had much of a winter so far. A couple little snows of maybe 1-2 inches but sun has come out and by 9-10 in the morning most of it has been gone. Right now @5:30AM 31 degrees and no snow will probably in in the high 40's today. Good luck you people with all the snow stay warm and take it easy on the shoveling. Don't want any hogs having a heart attack caused by the hard task of shoveling snow.
