Batteries is something I never run out of. I have an extra supply plus a charger that I always take with me. I've traveled to Europe and I have a charger with me at all times. Running out of batteries makes no sense to me.
The Tetons are our favorite. The views are the most majestic you'll ever see. And Yosemite is right next door. In either case, have a good trip. We did Yosemite in the winter and it's gorgeous. The Park Service does a good job in keeping the roads open so enjoy.
The Teton's is our favorite. It's gorgeous. Views are superb all year round but all the Western parks are more scenic than you can see in Europe. No question in my mind.

I'm sure there will be some who will make money with these. However, I'm at a point where this sort of bullshit doesn't matter to me. Actually, I probably passed that point some decades ago. --Bob
Years ago, I bought a Nikon Coolscan V. With the cassette that holds about 50 slides and scans at 4K pixels/inch, it does a nice job of converting slides to digital images. Files are large (64MB) per slide. With the storage media costs being as cheap as they are these days, storage costs are a non issue. It takes time but the results are worth it to me. I have produced 16x20 prints from the scanned images and you don't see pixilation. It pays to be selective about the images you scan but if you're careful, it's worth the time.
