The Grand Canyon is a great day trip from Sedona. We took a tour and it was well worth it. Didn't have to drive and the guide new all the right places to stop.

I use it all. I have a wood pellet smoker, a charcoal Weber, and a home made Tri-tip cooker where you hang the Tri-tips over a wood or charcoal fire. Different strokes for different folks. There is no right answer. Just like wine, whatever you like is the right one.

I have a friend who builds model vintage tractors out of wood. He does very detailed work so any other pictures of vintage tractors would be appreciated. Thank you.

I grew up right next to the railroad tracks with no back fence. From the age of six I played on and near the tracks. Back then we had hobos and bums who rode the rails, and nobody ever chased us off the tracks. You just have to be aware of your surroundings. I believe you have more than 10 seconds to get out of the way unless it's the new California Bullet Train. Bridges and tunnels are much more dangerous.

Also try standing to one side instead of in the middle of the tracks. I love your picture, and pictures of this nature.

Twin grandchildren.

I visited Pleiku one day in 1963. I met several Montagnards and had some of my favorite pictures taken with them. Funny thing, I can't remember what camera I had at the time, but I have upgraded several times since then. I still have the pictures, but not the camera.

Didn't have much use for that jacket in Nam. I served there in 1963 and since I was stationed in Saigon I wore khakis most of the time. I wore fatigues only a couple of times when travelling outside of Saigon. I can't remember ever seeing anyone wearing a dress jacket.

I have had both eyes done. They were done one year apart with the worst eye first. I used to see several moons when I looked at the night sky, now I see one. It is a wonderful thing. I still need glasses sometimes, but not as often. You will love your new vision.

It bothers me to see these windows so dark you can't see the driver. Sometimes you need to get their attention. A lot of them are texting or talking on their cell phones. You can tell by the 6 car lengths space in front of them. Same as no front license on their car. They think the law doesn't apply to them. I actually have been stopped a few times in my 50+ years of driving. I have found that being respectful has gotten me off with a warning a couple of times. Also, even if the police officer is wrong, just listen to him and nod your head in the affirmative. It works.

I had a recent experience with a policeman following behind me. I braked for a bicycle cutting across the street in front of me, and the policeman almost rear-ended me. He started telling me not to stop for those guys, meaning a bicyclist breaking the law by cutting across in the middle of the street. When I reversed the role and asked the policeman if he was following too close or not paying attention he suddenly said to move on. Not usually good advice, but it just slipped out so it worked.

I cook my bacon in a smoker. I lay it flat on what's called a Frog Mat. The grease drips down and the bacon stay very flat and even. I like it on the crispy side so I think it's not the brand of bacon, but how you cook it. I do like thick bacon on the lean side.

I think both body cameras and mounted cameras on police vehicles should be used. It would help to resolve a lot of cases. Go Pro has some great cameras so I am sure the Police can do as well. This discussion all started from someone not waiting to hear both sides of the issue. You should be opened minded and willing to listen to both sides before reaching a conclusion. Some people aren't willing to do this.
